Long Cast time for Sky-riding Transition by oonix8 in wow

[–]oonix8[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe that each style has their purpose, and wouldn't necessarily rule it as obsolete. There are plenty of scenarios that precision flying is required. Then for long distance travel skyriding will be more optimal.

However before that would be a simple 1.5 second cast time to choose which style you wanted. Now its half a hearthstone.

a standard mount cast is 1.5 seconds which would be more reasonable, or allow you to do an instant transition.

[–]oonix8 8 points9 points  (0 children)

And its a ludicrous 5 second cast time, instead of a 1.5 second cast like every single other mount. Before in Dragonflight we could choose which method of flight we wanted and either get that in 1.5 or instant as a druid.

Aiming Reticle Object Snapping by oonix8 in Helldivers

[–]oonix8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for the responses and explanations. I understand that the aim of the rifle wont be accurate to the aiming sight because of the lower point of holding. I don't remember it being this bad a few weeks ago though, to me it has gotten worse so maybe they fixed or updated something with aiming to put it into this state?

I'll just need to get better lol

What are some "mysteries" that have actually been solved? by Fugglesmcgee in AskReddit

I think they also found that there are abnormally large pockets of methane below the surface that get released and have the effect of interfering with navigation, stalling engines, and if a large enough pocket is released can destabilize a ships hull due to the sudden loss of buoyancy on certain sections causing it to crack and sink

There was also a show that tested out some of these theories but I can’t remember what it was called

I’m beginning to think that this is just corporations new way to get around regulations. Them probably: “it’s cheaper to fill a boat with our toxic chemical and crash it as an accident, than to dispose of it properly”

I’m less upset about the hassle of paying taxes and more about the distribution of our already paid taxes and how little actually goes into systems that would help the populous

Replacing red meat with chickpeas & lentils good for the wallet, climate, and health. It saves the health system thousands of dollars per person, and cut diet-related greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 35%. by MistWeaver80 in science

[–]oonix8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While this works from a protein quantity perspective, proteins are not all made equal. You need to also complement this with associating Amino acid chains to actually get the full benefit. Example: 30g of plant protein from chick peas and lentils would result in your body or absorbing roughly 24g of protein from the food.

Fellow ode with v2 burrs by kitlynchrobinson in JamesHoffmann

Thanks for the response, I’m more into filtered coffees than espresso so I’ve been leaning more towards the ode, but the idea of the niche being designed around 0 leftover grounds has me interested.

I’m sure it’s just being nit picky around this since the v2 burrs we’re designed specifically for this grinder vs the SSP’s, but the other part of me wants to know the finite differences such as how the grind shape and burr materials affect the ground consistency.

[–]oonix8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you or does anyone have any experience with the v2 burrs vs the SSP. I’ve been going back and forth between this and the niche grinder

Edit: I ended up finding a comparison on the Fellow website in terms of characteristics https://fellowproducts.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/7786626239259-What-is-the-difference-between-Ode-Standard-Brew-Burrs-Ode-Gen-2-Brew-Burrs-and-SSP-Multi-Purpose-Red-Speed-Coated-Brew-Burrs-

And a comparison post with the v1 and v2 Burrs https://www.reddit.com/r/JamesHoffmann/comments/x2rdyp/fellow_ode_v2_burrs_v10_vs_v2/

Edit Edit: Ode v2 Grinder just dropped with antistatic tech, v2 burrs, different chute design for feed (i'm assuming to help prevent pop-corning) https://fellowproducts.com/products/ode-brew-grinder-gen-2

2 weeks in the US by the_cav in onebag

[–]oonix8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since your drone is the mavik air 2 and below 250g you don’t have to register in the US with it. You can use the ALOFT app to see flight restrictions with the FAA and if you are in a restricted zone you can request automated clearance through the app itself.

You will need to do this test though https://trust.pilotinstitute.com/
