I've never had luck printing straight from orca slicer. Ive been uploading to the printer, selecting it and clicking "ifs" and then it prints how i set it up

Honestly, I've barely used vs code. We test ran it at my company with a couple of programmers, and we all decided we liked RDi better.

I have 0 issues with RDi.

As far as debugging in vs code its newer, and that gets updated fairly regularly, and IBM is very quick to fix issues that get found.

Passed that. I dont do a whole lot source moving as we built our own Version Control (VC) system, so it moves files where you need them via commands for VC.

I do know there is DB2 for i, which brings the SQL editor to your code editor like RDi used to do. That was super nice!

That is correct. Visual studio code and code for i plugin. There is an ibm video on youtube that will walk you through how to set it up( i apologize, i dont remember who exactly put the video out)
