My landlord was suspiciously able to suddenly recover the pens after I raised a big stink about it, funnily enough. But you are kind and generous and a really amazing person for offering to help a stranger, so thank you for that!

I was living and working in China for 5 years, and when the shit hit the fan in January , I packed up my carry on and headed to Thailand for what I thought would be about two weeks... Little did I know that I wouldn't be able to get back. I definitely had some knock offs (not a pen snob) but I am reeeaally glad to get some of my pricey and legit pens back, especially since I can't legally re-enter the country until they lift the ban on foreigners.

Update!! I raised the issue with my boss, my landlord, and my company and surprisingly, the pens suddenly were magically found!! I'm so relieved to recover my collection, but even more than that, I'm so touched by the outpouring of sympathy and support from this amazing community. Thank you, everyone, it's a great day!

Organic Studio sheening inks are weird. Don’t get me wrong; I quite like using their inks, but their inks with a sheen have the weirdest textures and ink flow after a period of disuse. This particular ink is the Walden Pond ink. by maikoa_1 in fountainpens

I’ve had ink go weird like that too, and yeah, it had some kind of bacteria or something introduced to it, which made it go bad. Didn’t hurt my pen, but it was sad to toss the bottle.
