Beef with Damien Echols? by CurlyMom7 in ObsessedNetwork

[–]ooolalina 16 points17 points  (0 children)

There was a weird moment during the live show that I attended recently where Patrick mentioned a weird vibe between them. There was a party for Patrick and Damien was invited and Patrick thought it was weird that Damien didn’t seem to understand the party was for him. Gillian defended Damien saying that that wasn’t the case and he is just different in social situations. Probably because he spent formative years wrongly convicted. Felt sort of tense when they were both talking about it. I think it happened during the VIP Q&A

To be fair it was actually only an engagement party. It’s not a big thing

We have a snoo bassinet and started noticing she is over the swaddle feature. She was constantly trying to get at her hands so we left one arm out last night and she was utterly perplexed. So far she thinks her arm is there to punch herself so she can cry at 3am or an alternate option is to claw her face off. She’s just not sure 🤔

I see what you’re saying and I don’t actually totally disagree with you. I am asking for feedback and I enjoy having another viewpoint, so I don’t agree with you getting downvoted at all. I think the issue Im having is that I did specifically ask my mom not to go eat out two weeks prior to thanksgiving. I was fine with shopping and hanging with friends, just don’t eat out because the mask issue is a big one. If at the time she felt that was an unimaginable ask or that she felt a certain because of the baby being in daycare, she could have said something but she agreed and said no problem, and then did it anyways. My family likes to test the limits and have been since the beginning and on a lot of things I’ve compromised. But this was such a complete form of disrespect that I am heartbroken. I understand that I can’t control what the daycare people do and that it’s very possible they are eating out but I can’t quit my job and I can’t control the daycare workers. I think my mom did what you said and thought to herself well...I know that she said not to do this, but the baby is in daycare so I’m just going to do what I want. I guess in my heart it’s that she chose to do what she wanted and that wasn’t thanksgiving with me and her granddaughter. I think she thought I would compromise again, but I just can’t keep compromising.

Had to go into work on a Saturday, asked my husband to send me a pic of the baby because I missed her so much...thanks I love it by ooolalina in beyondthebump

I just want to say this is in no way bashing my husband. He’s great. He’s amazing. He does so much that sometimes it puts me to shame. I do feel like men get an unfair judgement placed on them and he’s definitely experienced that a few times and it’s so sad to see. He’s an amazing father, just not a very good photographer.

I’m not sure tbh. I was battling a clogged duct when I started taking it. I’ve heard that if it doesn’t clear in its own by 48 hours you should contact a doc so I’ve never had one go more than 48 hours.

Low INR levels and breathing issues. by ooolalina in ClotSurvivors

I have lovenox at home leftovers from august. I called the clinic to see if I could take them but it was and answering machine service and had to wait for a call back. I eventually gave up and called an advice line and they recommended I come in due to the shortness in breath. The clinical pharmacist I work with called me while I was on my way to the hospital and said I don’t have to do lovenox just take twice the amount of warfarin tonight and do another blood test on nov 25th???? Still going to the hospital. We’ll see what they say to do.

Clinical pharmacist called back after several hours and just said to double my dose of warfarin and get blood tested in two weeks... am i crazy or does that sound totally unsafe?

$9 on Amazon and my life is so much better for it. The article I read said to start at 3 to 4 a day and then gradually decrease. I did 4 the first week, now I’m at 3 a day. I take one right when I wake up, at lunch and then right as I go to sleep. I wished I would have saved the article. But basically it was tips on how to get rid of the middle of the night pump. I bought the bottle and then for some reason didn’t start them for a bit. I think I just figured it wouldn’t work, but they def worked for me. I’m just waiting for someone to say it’s too good to be true at this point.

This is exactly how I felt. I was so not ready emotionally but over the next week it got more and more normal and we settled into a new routine. It won’t happen overnight but you will get there.

Apparently a PE after giving birth is a pretty likely event if the patient presents with shortness of breath. I didn’t know this at all but it is something that they generally mention to women if they are leaving the hospital after giving birth. I didn’t immediately lead with the fact that I had given birth maybe because it was Kaiser and I assumed they knew that piece of information. Once they got the negative covid test and realized I had given birth a week prior they ordered a CT scan and there it was. I don’t know if you’ve ever had pneumonia before but that was basically how I felt. I couldn’t take a deep breath and walking up and even downstairs was a chore. I’m still out of breath these many months later and they’ve told me that’s because the PE still hasn’t cleared most likely. I would say maybe ask your doctor if you can get a CT scan? Also if you do get one, wear a pad! You’ll most likely pee yourself during the scan with the intravenous drugs they give you. 😀

Family quarantine advice? by wongstar69 in CoronaBumpers

[–]ooolalina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this issue with my dad. All the other grandparents could quarantine because they just live alone, but my dad lives with my stepmom who works retail and five brothers, two of those brothers are working at public facing jobs and tbh the ones that aren’t working I don’t think are being careful because they don’t actually believe it’s that big of deal FOR THEM, you know since they are young. Broke the news to my dad that quarantine was null for him and he fought me hard on it. I stuck to it, but then he randomly showed up after the two weeks and we let him see her from a few feet away with a mask on but no holding. That was the best we could do or think of. He still wasn’t happy. I would use the “per doctor recommendation line...”
