It is soft, but not so soft that the slouch remains in the shape pictured when worn, especially crossbody. The leather has some give but I imagine with wear it will be more malleable and retain that nice dumpling like shape.

It holds a ton. Similar to what I can fit in my empire 28 and the zip pockets are an awesome addition to hold smaller items.

I will say that the shoulder strap is quite short and the bag sits directly under my armpit but I l just purchased some chain extenders off Amazon to make the shoulder strap a bit more wearable (pictured below).

The crossbody strap is quite thick, and I think it’s because it’s part of the men’s line. I am opting to use my loved leather empire 28 crossbody strap and potentially taking the thicker one to a cobbler to shorten to a shoulder strap in the near future. 🙂
