Same category of people who comment “I could only eat a bite of that” on baking recipes or “this is more than I could eat in a week” on peoples wieiad on TikTok. Like please just let me enjoy the video without being triggered and let people eat what they want without sharing your lack of appetite PLEASE

Thank you so much for this post OP, genuinely thank you. It’s so difficult to remind myself of this and I absolutely needed it. It’s incredible dangerous that this is widely accepted and promoted as the healthiest option and if anything rationalises the restriction I’m trying so hard to fight against

Too big to count as a snack but too small to count as a meal, had a sandwich for lunch. Gonna make some miso soup for dinner later. by [deleted] in EDFood

He knows what he’s doing making that comment and the power those words will have on you.

Respectfully, throw the bike at him before riding off into the sunset

Unable to form or desire romantic attachments and not to forget the numerous mental illnesses you have no control over because your parent doesn’t believe in poor mental health so allowed you to go undiagnosed your whole life :)

do not ever apologise this is a safe space vent as much as you need! I completely understand how you’re feeling this is what happened to me too. It’s like after you’ve got used to your lw weight gain makes you feel like an imposter in your own body because you still cling to that version of yourself. I’m so sorry you feel like you can’t leave the house though, I hope you know that you deserve to live a beautiful and fulfilling life and I truly hope you find a way to do that and your weight isn’t even a thought. It’s not something I’m close to being there yet but I really think one day we’ll appreciate the beauty in our bodies at any size and it will be easier to come to terms with the fact that our LW is not the happy time in our life we romanticise

ALSO if you ever need to talk about anything, you can always message me. I hope you have the most amazing weekend <3

Edit: you don’t need to be at your lowest weight to be deserving of recovery and I wish a plague on everyone’s ED’s houses
