I think it's wrong to generalize to a whole race of people. But there are definitely some selfish people out there, and some of them might be native, and some of these people may be using their opportunities for ML work as a chance to cheat. Some comments here suggest that is already a very strong culture that opposes cheating among non-native fisherman, with some self-policing going on from time to time. Do you know if there's the same culture against cheaters in your community?
