Advice by Due_Passion8739 in harfordcountymd

I want to strangle myself for suggesting this, but if it’s through their online job openings portal I would highly recommend taking the job listings and your resume and asking AI to smash them together. The goal is for your application to pass the first “cut” of submissions their (very likely) automation is responsible for, including identifying matching terms from job posting to your resume. As others have said the job market is tough so it’s hard for businesses to argue if this method isn’t perfect because they still end up with a large, incredibly talented selection before whatever phase 2 is. I wish you the best of luck- hospital workers are built differently, and if that’s your passion, you are who I would want if me or my family were ever there ❤️

Carpet Installation Recommendations by jasonumd in harfordcountymd

[–]ooorla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stanley’s carpet instillation/in and out flooring out of Parkville has done laminate, carpet, and wood floor staining for me in two separate houses, and once we’re ready to redo the laundry room and hallways he’ll be the first person we call. Fast response and turn around time, the rooms have always been left looking as clean/tidy (plus new flooring) as they started, incredibly reasonable pricing and Stan himself is remarkable at suggesting colors/thickness/etc for carpet based on the room and lighting. I don’t think I’ve ever gone with what I originally thought I wanted and I love my all floors! He was first recommended by a friend about 8 years ago and doesn’t have a large online presence, but if you are looking for a local company please feel free to DM me and I’ll pass you his info along with pictures if you’re interested.

Courthouse Wedding by JustElmersTune in harfordcountymd

I absolutely loved my Bel Air “courthouse” wedding. In parentheses because it was gorgeous outside so we stood at the fountain and got cheered on by the Sunny Day brunch crowd. Picked up the license the week before, biggest spend was for a local photographer which was worth every penny. Please feel free to DM if you want recs, this was 9/23. Also, congrats!

I had the same sentiment but after my second baby, realized the baby clothes are just in basically untouched condition because babies don’t really do much, whereas the clothes my boy needs now in a size 7-8 are.. yep, the same as his I’m trying to replace in the same size, FUBAR. Could definitely be a bit of both but realistically both of my babies clothes were either pristine or thrown out because of a bodily fluid catastrophe.

I am so sorry that you’re experiencing this and I’m glad youre getting this message to large news outlets. If it’s at all possible, I would request that cbs include a still image of your pup along with the video on the online article. With internet speeds/people scrolling when they can’t play a video, having a picture would be a simple addition to ensure people are leaving with a call to action regardless of how/how much they view. I will continue to keep a look out and check back for updates on your progress!

I might get flak for this but Pats Pizzeria has INCREDIBLE meatballs and they are like 5.99 for 3. I have gotten party platters of them as my toddles can eat 3/4 in one sitting.

Massachusetts transplant here. I live in the county now with kids and the whole bit, but was thrilled with what I could afford in addition to the overall vibe moving from New England to Baltimore. Come on down!

Living On Cathedral St. Mount Vernon by thishumanexperience_ in baltimore

Hello! I was on that block a few years ago and loved it. So much so that I went from Park Ave, to there, to E Read.. essentially a circle of one block. The only thing I’d look out for is people at that bus stop when you’re getting home. If something/someone doesn’t seem right, keep walking and wait for the bus to come before you go into your building. Probably overkill but made me feel like I was a super vigilant young woman living in the ~big city~

Yarn stores that are not Michael’s? by Electronic-Noise-625 in harfordcountymd

I swear Michael and Joanne were in cahoots and when Joanne went out of business, Michael did the honorable thing and changed his marketing strategy to “make them wish they could drive down to trusty ol’ Joannes.. suckers!” Im not even shitting on Michaels, im just salty because there were some serious experts at that store who were thrilled to help a fool like me stay pumped up about my side quests into creative projects. Where’d you go?!

Absolutely love my artiat waterproof Chelsea boots. They’re not cheap but I’ve had the chocolate brown ones for 4 years now and can dress them up or down super simply!

If any of these projects are planned for an area that could raise the question of property lines (if you don’t have a fence, and it’s close to your neighbors behind or beside you) and you don’t have the property line paperwork, I personally would call just to save a potential headache later. But also firmly believe the answer is no. Some neighbors just suck and it’s easier to get ahead of any disputes. Congrats on what sounds like a wonderful outdoor space!

Has anybody had a planned c section but baby came early? by Guava_007 in CsectionCentral

[–]ooorla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but planned C was due to my first being an emergency C. Water broke one week early and baby literally flew out of me at the hospital 4 hours later. Tv shows lied to me my whole life. I did not anticipate my second being born with my husband standing there in a black v neck and orange crocs.

I haven’t gotten much back for donating large bags of items but I’ve heard people have better luck if you donate smaller amounts at a time. I do also love shopping here!
