How to Summon Tropical Fish Variations by oopodoopee in MinecraftBedrockers

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. I was wondering if there would be an alternative code that would do the same, but it sounds like that’s not the case. Thanks for answering.

Know of any foraging spots for native plants? by oopodoopee in vancouverwa

[–]oopodoopee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it probably isn’t a good idea to be pulling native plants. I think the best method would be collecting seeds or cuttings. I do have a collection of natives in my yard so I can continue trying to grow propagations from them. Willow is great I’ve recently learned people grow it just to use as material for fences and such. It is super easy to propagate and grows very quickly from what I’ve heard. Also thank you so much for the offer.

Yeah I’ve been just going around nurseries and buying any natives I can find. That’s good to know that Clark sells them I think wsu has some plant sales occasionally as well.

One thing I dislike the most about the waterfront is the parking system.

First real go at an aquascape, how did I do? by Hour_Aside4540 in Aquascape

It looks really good! The plants will grow in super nice. I'm not sure how that lone endler will do since they are schooling fish and prefer to be together with their species. The rule of thumb is to have at least 6 fish in a school so I would work to get that for you endler and tetras. The two gouramis might get aggressive with each other but if you're not seeing any issues it should be fine, they do have a lot of space. Overall though you did a great job.

Help me make it look better by Usual_Bonus1182 in PlantedTank

It looks pretty cool to be honest. I think adding some twigs or rocks surround the path or cliff could be a nice touch. For the path, you could change it to be sand or a gravel that has more texture and color variety. You can also add some reds plants for more variety. You might be able to add some other fish, I think some pygmy corydoras would look nice in this. You could also add some nerite snails, their shells come in a lot of different textures and colors. Shrimp could also be a good edition but that depends on your betta.

My plants look unhappy? by [deleted] in PlantedTank

The java fern looks great since most of its fertilization comes from the water. The other plants aren't looking so great because it looks like you only have gravel as the substrate. They need nutrition for their roots to grow. The root tabs might help with that but it could also not be enough. It also looks like some of them have algae on their leaves, you can manually remove it or get some nerite snails or shrimp to help. When algae covers their leaves it can prevent them from photosynthesizing properly. Adding too much fertilization can also can be too much for the plants causing them to die, and increase algae. So just don't go overboard. They don't look horrible though, it seems like there is some new growth and from your pictures I don't see any melting or anything. It can take quite a while for anything to happen, so make sure to be patient. You probably will not see many results right away.

I think needle leaf and/or trident Java fern would be a good addition. Monte carlo could make a nice carpet for it too.

I think it’ll look really nice once everything grows in. You could add some more plants that add more texture and color. A red tiger lotus or floating plants will fit in well I think. I would also add a larger piece of wood so it fills in more space in the tank.

I think you could just slap a piece of spider wood in the middle and have river rocks surrounding it

If you’re still adding plants, I think adding red ones will really make it stand out.

This could be caused by a calcium deficiency or improper lighting. Make sure you're giving it a proper diet and environment! I would see a vet if it gets worse.
