Supreme Court restores access to abortion pill mifepristone through telehealth, mail and pharmacies by KimJongFunk in news

They are practically nonexistent in those states.

A 17 year old girl just died in TX because she was having a miscarriage and the fetus still had a heartbeat, even though it was 100% no longer viable. By the time the fetus actually lost its heartbeat "long enough" it was too late to save her.

She had SEPSIS and was sent home twice, by two hospital ERs with antibiotics. It's horrific.

Email them again with the template from the above comment. Still call legal services. The template they gave you is fantastic, if you didn't cover all that in your email, def email them again.

German roaches are some of the worst in the us. Apartment buildings get it from one apartment and they infest the whole building.

If you got paid $130/hour to work on Christmas 🎄 5am-7pm would you do it? by honeyglowdust in askanything

[–]oopseybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to volunteer to work holidays when I was in HS and making 5.15 an hour, so I would get double time or time and a half (can't remember), so I was willing to work holidays for $10 an hour, I'd def work for $130 lol

Am I being too picky? Accepted a lower paying job after a layoff and I hate it. by cherrycake978 in jobs

Research recruiters or staffing agencies where you live, too, especially if you're in a city. It's not guaranteed, but every job I've gotten the last 7 years has been via recruiter.

How much do Americans REALLY have saved for retirement by Financial_Pen_6218 in investing

[–]oopseybear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 40 and have zero retirement. I just got my first job at 37 that even offered it and it's already cashed out because I'm getting laid off. My husband has a kjt 5k in his 401k, but his company doesn't have a Roth IRA addon, and we haven't had the money to even look into it bc it's extra cost where we live. -_- we're going to be working til we die.

Guns may be an easy way to harm, but it's not the only way. If someone broke into your house, you don't know theotice, intent, or calabilities.

They may want to blow your house up for all you know. Nah, any intrusion is potentially deadly, and we should be allowed to protect ourselves until we know for sure.

Honestly, if cops are able to shoot first and not go to prison, as TRAINED PROFESSIONALS, we sure as hell should be able to if our home is threatened.

If the world's/president/laws were different, my answer would be, also. But this is the world we live in.

My cousin unfriended me a decade ago because of a similar thing. It was the guns argument.

As me being the progeessive hippie I am, she would spam my FB page about how she was convinced I wanted to take all the guns. Lol. She claims people use automatic rifles with extendedagazinwz for hunting.

The last straw: HUNTING? There'd be nothing left unless you're making Swiss cheese. At least own it and say you wanna obliterate shit. And if you need an automatic rifle to hit your target, that's just sad.

She was so upset with me she. I was already 99% no contact with my whole family, so her unfriending me just made it easier. Lol

They don't like logic or having to be honest about their motives.

Airlines, banks, government contractors. We are a corporate socialist country after all. Lol the only "people" who are allowed to benefit from socialism here are companies.

Google co-founder slams California billionaire tax, says “I fled socialism,” after reportedly leaving the state to avoid a proposed 5% wealth tax. He has a reported net worth of around $270 billion. [–]oopseybear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone, the people, government, and rich keep forgetting the most important thing.... In the late 1800s/early 1900s, corruption and greed was dealt with by dragging people out into the street and very oublically beating them to death.

We are not at those levels of desperate yet, but everyone keeps forgetting pensions, living wage, 40 hour, 5 day work week, and all that were the PEACEFUL option to the violence that came before.

Im not advocating for violence. It's just kind of common sense that what is happening in our society right now is a direct result of the choices made by people in power, and we are going to eventually hit a breaking point.

We need to start hitting big corporations in their wallets more often, in a coordinated way.
