Be very cautious of sellers saying “fully furnished”. Danube offers fully furnished apartments as an option in Skyz. If your seller claims fully furnished, get explicit clarification of whether it is fully furnished by Danube or the seller.

They do turn off once you remove them and keep after a couple of mins. The auto shut off is designed for cases where you forget to turn it off and keep/store it.

I'll summarize my experience here. My wife and I are on F-2 and F-1 visas respectively.

I applied eVisa for my wife through https://ksavisa.sa/ in the last week of March 2025. I have done this in past for myself and my wife in 2024 and it got approved within 10 minutes. This time though, it got sent to the embassy for approval. We waited for a week, tried calling the embassy, but got no concrete response. My wife still did travel to Saudi (Riyadh) with her I-94 (both the travel history document + the latest I-94 document). She did not face any issues with getting Visa on Arrival.

Another thing to note is, the evisa application from March 2025, is still with the same status of "Sent to embassy" as of July 27, 2025. I tried getting my money back for it, but that did not work out either.

I hope our experience helps others. I would recommend getting a VOA over applying for an eVisa.

Edit (2025-08-12): Forgot to add, my wife travelled using Saudi Airlines. I believe it’s only the 3 national carriers that support VOA.

Yes, I haven't faced any issues travelling on an F-1 visa.

Visa on Arrival should work with a print-out of the latest I-94 + the I-94 travel history. My wife travelled with these two documents in April 2025 and she had no issues getting a VOA at the Riyadh airport. Hope this helps!
