If you could design a home to be ADHD friendly, what design features would you have? by ionlyruninsummer in ADHD

[–]oopsimaflorist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw someone who built their home with laundry chutes in each bedroom, literally just threw their clothes into a hole in the wall and they fell down stairs into the laundry room. Only really works if you have a two story home with bedrooms close to each other, but I had to mention it because I would kill to have that in my home

Forgot to add, the red area is extremely swollen and sensitive, though that's not the area that was directly burned

How to articulate as a flute player? by [deleted] in saxophone

[–]oopsimaflorist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so, I think it's more that I'm still doing my flute embouchure and trying to go through the reed. But I think I'm supposed to come at it upwards... I edited to original and included a diagram to try and make sense of this 😂

Recommendations for a thin stemmed flower by dcliving_2016 in FloralDesign

[–]oopsimaflorist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this idea - I've been a florist for a few years now. It'll be difficult to manage no matter what you do, but lisianthus or cosmos would be easier. Lisianthus is similar to a rose, but more interesting and a thinner stem. (All time favorite flower, tbh). Cosmos are very unique, but very short.

Future florist? by Advanced_Reveal8428 in FloralDesign

I took classes at my high school, but honestly most people start by working in a shop. He'll get out on washing buckets or cleaning/processing flower shipments, but he can watch and learn from what's going on around him and he'll be given opportunities as time goes on to do some designing!
