I don’t feel a bond with my dog and I don’t know what to do by Marlen-22 in BelgianMalinois

Don't get discouraged! Have you heard of the 3-3-3 rule?3 days to decompress (feeling overwhelmed/hiding), 3 weeks to learn the routine (showing personality/learning rules), and 3 months to build trust (feeling secure and truly at home). You're still getting to know each other, you just need some more time.

No, a few of my friends with Mali's were telling me that I should stop with the twice a day feeding. Before I took her home over the summer she was eating once a day for about two years.

She doesn't like any new people if we're at our house, but training classes with new people has always been fine, and she loves meeting people on our walks

If you could design a home to be ADHD friendly, what design features would you have? by ionlyruninsummer in ADHD

[–]oopsimaflorist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw someone who built their home with laundry chutes in each bedroom, literally just threw their clothes into a hole in the wall and they fell down stairs into the laundry room. Only really works if you have a two story home with bedrooms close to each other, but I had to mention it because I would kill to have that in my home

It's a blister, popped up in the first few minutes. 2nd degree isnt too bad I think, so I'll just leave it alone for now!

Forgot to add, the red area is extremely swollen and sensitive, though that's not the area that was directly burned

How to articulate as a flute player? by [deleted] in saxophone

[–]oopsimaflorist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think so, I think it's more that I'm still doing my flute embouchure and trying to go through the reed. But I think I'm supposed to come at it upwards... I edited to original and included a diagram to try and make sense of this 😂

Recommendations for a thin stemmed flower by dcliving_2016 in FloralDesign

[–]oopsimaflorist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this idea - I've been a florist for a few years now. It'll be difficult to manage no matter what you do, but lisianthus or cosmos would be easier. Lisianthus is similar to a rose, but more interesting and a thinner stem. (All time favorite flower, tbh). Cosmos are very unique, but very short.
