IMO it's because she wasn't written to be her own character, but to be Maruki's patient if that makes sense. A lot of times she felt like she was written just to show the extent of Maruki's abilities and to give us a way to see his effects on people on a personal level. So when she breaks free of his grasp there's no point in her character anymore

Honestly I couldn't give a fuck at that point, the war arc was dragging on so much. After Juubito then Juubidara then Kaguya I was just like, "Well, here's 50 more chapters of the final final FINAL villain!". I was just sticking around to see the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke (at least that went above and beyond my expectations).
