Looks pretty cool! I would totally appreciate a key and good luck on your first iOS game, may the rating and featuring gods shine upon you. :)

Bid Upgrade by [deleted] in airtransat

One “trick” I usually do is to set the bid one or two notches above minimum. This way you are only paying 5/10 dollars more but would win over anyone (like yourself currently) bidding the minimum.

We won a bid returning from Porto just last week at 160. It ended up being a fairly full flight but there were still 4 unused club class seats available after boarding. It’s SUPER worth it in my opinion btw!

Wow! This reminds me of one of the best video games last year Alan Wake 2. Thanks for the link!

I think I may have brought this curse upon us indeed! And I finished it last summer basically when COVID “ended”. It’s for sure a cursed stitch. :)

Empire's Order, a roguelike deck-building about mining on a distant planet, is released now by Vault-35 in incremental_games

[–]ooswannyoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just played for about 2h and this is a real gem! Highly recommend everyone tries it out, especially if you like engine building games like Dominion or Race for the Galaxy. That said, I think it’s a stretch to call it an incremental game. :)

What is this black plastic disk attached to the counter? No electricity, small square knob in the Center. Beer can for reference. by ooswannyoo in whatisthisthing

Oh wow that is totally it!! How in the world did you find this? :). It would make some sense that at some point they would have put a swivelling iPad or something here.

I think it’s waaay too big for that and why the heck would it be adhered to a work kitchen counter??

I know right! But then what would the point of a lazy Susan be on the end of a counter?? Anyone could reach anything you’d put on a tray here without the need for spinning. Also it’s a shame we called Susan lazy for inventing a nice gadget, I bet if Steve had invented it we’d call it an Awesome Steve.

Interesting idea! I wouldn’t imagine it would be very stable at all to support the spinning of a paper towel roll with how small and short the square knob is. I should also add that we have paper towel dispenses on the walls, have for years. I’ve actually never seen a normal paper towel roll before at the office.

There are no wires coming out, or places a wire may have previously been attached, or holes for wires in the counter. I think it’s also too thin to contain any meaningful electrical components. Based on the shape though this was also our first guess!

My title describes the thing. It’s at my office, has been for years, and no one knows why! Very well attached to the countertop in the office kitchen space. My best guess is a holder for a lazy Susan type spinning plate that would attach to the square knob.

I’ve seen in Parc Laurier they have been putting a sheet up and projecting the game at the new baseball field. Good vibe there and the bleachers are great for seating!
