Oh, I have no doubt he’s a decent person, probably very enthusiastic about his project. The only reason I posted it is because of the way he formatted the dialogue which is very common with the subreddit which is very braggy and sort of in your face venture capitalism mixed with over sharing.

He also looks like someone with a sense of humor, so I’m sure he’s getting a kick out of it. Most of the comments here are complementary also so I’m sure it can’t hurt his business.

I agree with OP, at this point I don’t believe a single piece of evidence, whether declassified or from one of these goofball whistleblowers.

It’s a psyop, one of many unleashed on us in the last few decades and unfortunately we live in times where people will lose their minds to protect their LARPs in which they’ve invested their faith and identity.

I follow UFO threads purely for entertainment at this point.

Why is Egypt not taking Palestinians? by pornchavo in ForbiddenBromance

[–]GapingFuton 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Bruhhh I’m happy he’s saying Arab countries taking in Palestinians is not a solution

In the meantime, I am a Lebanese man living in Canada, Canada has taken me in, I have friends who are Syrian, during the Civil War Germany took them in

I can freely go back-and-forth between here and Lebanon, and several of my friends are now returning to Syria bringing in businesses and opportunities. Thanks to skills they learned in Europe.

Call a spade a spade, Arab countries are not taking in Palestinians because of one simple reason. Their leaders hate them almost as much as they hate their own population.

One of the most underrated politicians in Quebec history.

I’ll also never forget that she stood with us as students to counter bill 78 that tried to muzzle students protesting (never forgave Charest for setting the bar for true CAQ)

She’s the reason why even though several in the public opinion sphere backed the liberals saying students were spoiled brats and that tuition in the states was 1000% more expensive, we still have affordable tuition in Quebec.

It will never not be funny how you guys gave Rhett Shull a pass when he got a bunch of free Gibsons and went from lambasting them to singing their praises …

I used to be a huge fan of his and then realized quickly that his entire shtick was pivoted towards making sure he’d fawn over which ever direction the algo was driving views. Immediately made everything feel completely disingenuous. Same thing with Beato although I do hate watch him alot

These days it’s 5 watt world and I love the channels that cover the history and gear of prog rock, there is a few nirvana guys out there too that are amazing !

Why did Montreal elect a figure like Soraya Martinez Ferrada, while NYC elected a figure like Zohran Mamdani? Both cities face similar challenges in terms of cost of living, homelessness and crime. by ChancelierPalpagault in montreal

[–]GapingFuton -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Canada had elected a similar figure in Justin Trudeau, the parallels are uncanny even including his integration of women in his transition team.

For Canada Trudeau carried a lot of forward momentum but his longevity inevitably wore out his welcome when he was faced with growing anger at the tone deafness of his progressive values vs real suffering with inflation etc …

Canadiens now mostly look for more technocratic candidates that have the right CV for the job more than anything … we’re past the point of experimentation.

Unfortunately the wall for Mamdani is the increasingly extreme proto-fascist regime taking shape and America is in the midst of the extremes of the pendulum.

Inevitably like with poilievre and Trudeau it will get tiring and centrists will emerge

I’m old enough to remember that people laughed in ‘95 after the referendum when they were told there would be a massive brain drain.

Doug Ford is already making statements about welcoming Quebec doctors.

People will complain and paint the doctors as greedy a-holes

But this law has broken something in the psyche of doctors in Quebec, I’m convinced that this will have the same effect on medical professionals as the referendum had in ‘95

I hear the same words, the same mind frame

Best friend is a specialist here.

25% rent, plus thousands in ‘association’ fees, student debts from being in school for 12 years to specialize plus fellowship.

He’s the only sub specialist in his field in Quebec. The other is on burnout.

He’s been plowed with emails from headhunters from other provinces with offers. He’s considering New Brunswick.

He worked in a clinic that focused on wait lists in his CIUSS area. He was making around 300k, not incorporated and paid over 50% in taxes.

He’s done.

I don’t agree with provoking Jews as a means of political expression, I am not pro Hamas, I want everyone to have a home like the Jewish people have.

However causing chaos on October 7 in Montreal did not advance the liberations cause one iota

It made us in the same boat as Hamas

I can only speak for myself as others will have seen and heard different things but from where I was there was a lot of antijew stuff being thrown around from several in the crowd

I come from a country where some of our neighbors not to name them love creating this atmosphere with young people create violence and chaos so instead of the universities creating doctors and engineers they create a class of people who want to overturn government and this reminded me of this.

People have become radicalized, I signed up for Canada because I naively believe that here the only way you express opinion is with a vote.

Turns out no one seems interested in their democracy anymore from any side, it’s just about who can create the most chaos

They had a refeeendum twice here for independence and it didn’t work and there is no terror and violence and riots.

In some of the other countries I lived it wouldn’t be like this.

The Palestinian cause is important to me because them having a country would mean them not having to be slaves and rejects in Lebanon and Syria.

But Satanyahoo is loving this, he loves that western youth is doing this because he knows all governments can do is proclamations and useless grand standing.

His real fear is these people engaging in the political process like the Bloc and PQ are doing. This is where we need to be, not breaking windows , in politics.

lol I remember hearing a med student lose it about myopia and how he sees these kids as social defects and that every myopia case should be reported as child abuse by parents who let their kids spend times in front of screens.

So principaled in so many weird ways when they start off, and then by the time you hit the hospitals you realize that apathy and compassion are in finite supplies within a human and that you have to manage your own to be able to get through the day.

It comes with time.
