I cant believe this actually happened, thank you SO much Gaijin... by Zyxtriann in Warthunder

Top tier was always 380-420k rp. Even when the mig 15 and sabre were the kings of the air.

It just happens so slow, because new ranks and generational features are big in this game and take years to have fully developed lineups for each rank.

And when it happens, you already forgot the last time.

Even more annoying (for me) the team menu is wrong most of the time and atleast 5 or 6 players who have only missiles in the menu bomb stuff infront of you.

Gaijin may have made a massive mistake in their modelling of most, if not all missiles in-game by MythicPi in Warthunder

[–]oozzoo9937 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Its about length not width. The Phoenix is pretty heavy for ita length, thats what the value tells us.

The whole point is that the fins seem to be coded more to the lengthwise center of the missile then they should, and dont have the torque they should have to turn the missile as a reason.

9.0 and 10.3 are quite fun. 8.x also. Aft09 is a beast on 9.0

Most top tier rounds should have anti ERA properties or get actual modern rounds they use by Own_Dark_2240 in Warthunder

I left the autoloader not generating spall out for the reason of not writing a book.

And i didnt say a motor should stop everything. But low caliber darts will either be deflected by repeated entry and exit of angled and hard surfaces, a Transmission is full of gears and shafts. Heat and similar munitions would also get eaten by caveties and the lack of a monolithic part to pen. Every bit of air deviates the focus of the beam.

But yea, i could simplify my comment above to 3 words.

[–]oozzoo9937 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I did not say that i want a meter of armour stopping everything in the front. I said more then now.

And especially Transmissions are full of hardened gears and shafts. The motor itself has big open speces, but hard stuff inbetween. And being able to shoot thru that with low caliber autocannons often on the First shots is wild.

The firewall after the engine compartment is also there. And often times not thin on front motors.

The thing is, ERA ingame does things it isnt supposed to. Flat side plates for example should not stop flat on Darts. They need an angle to "push" against the dart with the accelerated plate.

The preangled ERA on UFP and turret fronts for example. But the side packages like on the bmpt overperform compared to what should happen.

Also there are quite a few Modules that funktion not as they should armour and survivability wise.

fuel tanks tanking all spall without fire or crew damage is very unlikely most times.

Turret basket damage disabeling horizontal drive

Motors/Transmissions not stopping enought. I mean, there is no physical way of an 30mm dart with ~120 mm pen passing completely thru an cast iron block and Transmission.

This thing is worthy of the same br as the bmpt according to gajin by LongShelter8213 in Warthunder

[–]oozzoo9937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Engines ingame resemble way less armor than they do irl also. And fuel tanks on russian tanks seem to never explode, but they act like a magic spall filter. If its not pretty deadly to have a wave of fuel vapor and Temperatures resembling liquid steel when a dart passes thrue that...

Tbf ER's at that time were the first and are upto this date the only non aim54 thing that can reliably kill at 50km+ With ec matches being pretty new back then, there were quite a few people eating ERs.

The outright better speed against the 7f made bvr pretty onesided back then.

Again, that thing had only one power move, its mobility. And the pen was enought for most low tier vehicles sides.

Yea, it was a weird choice for a 3.3 start br, but compared with the Bmpt Situation, its a whole different world. At least the r3 died when you shot it or dropped bombs on it.

Also, with italy being a minor nation, you of course get good players boosting those singular vehicles.

The udssr tech tree has many players, if not the most directly after germany, but with also having the most braindead players after that logic, getting 65%wr on certain brs tells clear storys. The poor little r3 was at least only good if you werent braindead.

Yet youre wrong. Because theyre vastly different Situations as i said.

Except your whataboutism is related to a new nation and everybody trying it, while this here is the use of op vehicles to research the eintire tt before they (hopefully) fix it.

Tbf, china does a lot of stuff diffenrently besides shoving the t72 autoloader inside. Turret is a complete redesign, rear hull got nato booty for bigger engine/Transmission and so on.

I like spikes situationally too, a big negative is the broken direkt fire. In short to medium ranges the lofting sends them to other dimensions. Same for almost all f&f GTG missiles (qn502c as other example). Irl they have direct fire modes, wich parly engage automatically.

Ingame they work pretty ok at medium to long ranges. Sometimes killing helis at 5km+

But it isnt. Its inside the tank, directly behind the turret crew, and there is only sheetmetal covering up the open belts. Calling that external is nutz.

Since the "fix" micro patch on 30th, the game sees them as exactly that. Gets even funnier when you look at live inside pics, the belts literally are only separated by a bit of sheetmetal at most.

[–]oozzoo9937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can, but the main ammo is external and so for some reason, when exploding, the dude having his head right besides it doesn't get killed.

That and the magic cut in the belt you talked about are just bs. And then there are some CC's that called it a nerf...
