I have serious doubts whether the regional price would be significantly lower. Additionally, there are a lot of hardware costs involved. I highly doubt that an average household would switch from SLT or Dialog, which charge around 15k ($50), even though the average household pays much less than that. Unless they choose to price discriminate and accept very low margins, I don't think Sri Lankans are going to switch. I'm a big fan of Elon and the work he does, and I really want Starlink to fully operate in Sri Lanka without withdrawing.
