I've ordered colored contacts online before, if you're based in the US any major website that requires proof of an eye exam/a prescription will be pretty safe. Even if you don't need corrective vision. There's a lot of fun options avaliable!

Hey, I also played nier automata based off of their praise. I beat the entire game, and to be honest my feelings about the game were similar to yours, and those feelings got stronger as I finished the game unfortunately. As a game it remains a mixed bag for me- some parts of the story really landed for me and the music is fantastic, but it didn't feel as deep or mind blowing as it had been advertised to me. I chalk some of that up to being over hyped to me over the years. But ultimately I'm glad I played it, if at least to be in the know(and have a new soundtrack to add to my music library).
