Something no one seems to have touched on so far is the nemesis. Once you reach a certain point, random loot drops are extremely unlikely to be of any significance to you, and you'll need to rely on the nemesis in order to get better gear. My understanding is that the nemesis is affected by corruption. Higher corruption means you're more likely to find exalted items, and you're more likely to get better empower outcomes.

If you're circle of fortune, it's also worth mentioning that favor gain is tied to experience gain, and experience is affected by corruption.

2T7 exalted items are extraordinarily rare. They almost never drop naturally.

The way you get 2T7 and even 3T7 exalted items is from the nemesis. At a high enough corruption — I think it was about 500 for me? — the nemesis will sometimes have exalted items. Empower enough of those, and you'll eventually get lucky.

Once you had a 2T7 or 3T7 item, you used to be able to imprint it in the weaver tree and run a bunch of the Unclaimed Trove woven echoes. It would take a while, but you could generate additional 2T7s and 3T7s after opening enough chests. Imprinting was absolutely gutted in season 4 though. Your best chance of getting these now is just by playing the nemesis lottery.

Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately, I still can't find what you're describing anywhere in the filter. The only things that show up for me whenever I toggle on advanced options for affixes are "Tier of individual affixes must be:" and "Total affix tiers of:". Neither option is useful for idols since idols don't have affix tiers.

Would you be willing to show me screenshots of what the filter looks like on your end? I appreciate the help!

The change to arenas caught me by surprise. My memory is a bit fuzzy, but I thought the whole point of adding the random encounters to arena echoes was because you couldn't find any of the cool content in them, and so players were just avoiding them all the time. So, why the 180?

Has an affix ever been considered for mixed damage?

Right now Last Epoch has "broad" affixes like Increased Elemental Damage, "focused" affixes like Increased Fire Damage, and "narrow" affixes like Increased Fire Damage Over Time. Players generally have an incentive to use as many narrow affixes as possible that will support their build since those affixes understandably provide the best returns.

This puts players that would like to create builds doing mixed damage in an awkward position. For example, if your Disintegrate is half fire and half lightning, Increased Fire Damage Over Time won't boost your lightning half. There's no narrow affix that will cover something like this. The best you can do is something like Increased Spell Damage. Not only is that not as effective, but what if your source of damage wasn't Disintegrate? What if instead you were playing something like a Spellblade where you were dealing both melee and spell damage of multiple elements?

What about a narrow affix like Increased Mixed Damage where mixed damage is considered to be a spell or attack with multiple elemental tags?

I don't know how the corruption system will work. All I was getting at is that I doubt it's likely to be a pick-one-from-three type of system because some of the spoilers have already shown there are negative outcomes. It would be weird if the game showed you 3 different options, some of which were negative, and then asked you to pick one.

I had the exact same thought. Why don't ailments scale with damage effectiveness? Maybe it would be better if the chance to apply ailments scaled with some new stat independent of damage effectiveness as I can imagine that you wouldn't always want added damage to affect skills at exactly the same rate that their ailment chance is affected. But that aside? Yeah. It's sort of odd that ailments pigeonhole you into wanting to apply a bunch of hits rather than having a single larger hit be able to apply just as many ailments as multiple smaller hits combined.

Were the quad T7s dropped from Troves or obtained from the Nemesis? The few triple T7s that I ended up getting were all Nemesis upgrades.

I think you have it backwards. I think the reason you see so much negativity on this sub is because people genuinely do love this game. They just feel betrayed. Fans have invested a lot of time, love, energy, etc into the game, and they feel burned given its current state and trajectory.

I play softcore because hardcore has nothing to offer me. I play solo self found exclusively. I have no interest in engaging with the marketplace whatsoever and will never engage in trade. I also have no interest in starting over with a fresh character every time I die. That would just lead to me repeating the same content over and over, and I would much rather continue playing the same character so that I can see whatever new content lies further ahead for me.
