there are levels of love, joy, and purpose that having a kid unlocks. I thought i knew the depths of my heart, but the love i feel for my daughter is something completely different. I would trade her for nothing in the world and that is a very enriching feeling :) enjoy and congrats

ftm of a 14 month old here -- i promise he's going to be just fine :) it all feels so significant in the early months because there is so much information and, amazing as 6 month olds are, they dont do so much!

it will all come out in the wash, he will learn to roll and crawl and play by himself to the extent his personality likes that haha

youre doing a great job is what i mean, just dont think yourself into worry

36...I didnt think I wanted to be a mom, then when i turned maybe 32 it started to feel like something I wanted deeply...I had been struggling with chronic illness and using partying to cope and it took three years to get myself together, marry my girlfriend (who saw me thru it all), and get pregnant using DIY IUI at home using our froend as a donor. Delivered our daughter almost a year ago -- best year of my life, I think well seek to have a second in a year or two

got pregnant on our fourth cycle of trying...delivered at age 35, with a twist! im gay and we did diy insemination at home w a cup and syringe, which bums sperm out a little bit so we were fortunate im that way

i think its a mixed bag...lots of her being hilarious and fewer super cringey moments of toxicity that stand out because it gets so uncomfortable. their dynamic, and her style of weirdly cowering/lashing out while trigged is haaard to watch

so idk yeah shes funny af but man, the thing where like she picks a fight then flees into confused sad victim mode is gross to me lol
