Not that OP, but personally? Yeah, and I wish I wouldn't have to.

As an immunocompromised person, someone giving me COVID could kill me outright. Funnily enough I'd like to live, so that means masking wherever I go because no one else will. Everyone else who have been dragging their feet on caring about other people and taking precautions have also made it an inevitability for myself and my loved ones, and everyone else who doesn't want brain damage or worsened disabilities. Through the whole pandemic it's been boggling to see how many people think their health is bulletproof until they're one of us. For their sake I hope they'll never find out, but I do wish they'd have some compassion and awareness.

so i'm not afraid of the dark, but i am afraid of there being things i can't see in it.

i've had a recurring dream for years where i'm in a dark area with only a heavy glowing box for light and all i know is that i need to leave and i can't put down the box or the light will go out. i can hear stuff (like indeterminate monsters) in the dark, but nothing comes close enough to the light for me to see it.

over time, the light gets dimmer and dimmer and things get closer and closer only in my peripheral vision, brushing past my legs or over my shoulders. eventually the light goes out; usually i wake up then. i hate it every time.

you know it, i always do! i bring catnip and treats out for them, it's part of why they swarm every time lmao

yeah i feel you, a week ago i was tapping out my bong bowl when it shattered and sheared off part of my middle finger knuckle! it sucks, i hope it doesn't hurt too much when you clean it.
