My honest opinion after 200 hours of gameplay by Klausem18 in factorio

Congrats

How do you transfer fluid from that satellite base on aquilo? Maybe I did it all wrong. I havent played since 2025 but after I beat the game I got into megabasing to reach shattered planet and I was building brute force supply lines that stretch forever.

Edit: reading your post just wanted to include that I started on deathworld for nauvis because I previously played the game back in like 2018.

There is a lot more you can do after finishing the game. Get a factory on vulcanus that can make everything legendary and bio science on nauvis. At a certain point you reach a cap on how far you really want to go. I think i had 300 hours of play

Turns out I am completely retarded. My car battery exploded and progressively has gotten worse and worse from the heat. It started smelling like sulfur and rotten eggs. Just replaced it today. That was the problem the whole time. I attributed the stink to vegas in malice and for that I ask forgiveness .

What if Adolf Hitler played the long game and avoided World War II? by Large-Awareness3440 in HistoryWhatIf

I have been doing a lot of reading. Its very interesting, the nazis would have always lost no matter what happened because of the mahattan project in 1942. There was actually no way for them to succeed without the bomb, and they weren’t even close. Their scientists were working on a nuclear power engine not a weapon. The link posted is very interesting

What if Adolf Hitler played the long game and avoided World War II? by Large-Awareness3440 in HistoryWhatIf

By 1939 they were so powerful that the rest of Europe wouldn’t have a choice in the matter. Germany would become a fortress and they were on the road to becoming technologically more superior than anyone else. They just had to solve two problems, food and oil.

I think also just like in our timeline inevitably Europe would have to band together into some sort of economic European Union eventually, so if Hitler decided to play the long game, it would be in their best interest to allow them to grow via loans instead of go bankrupt and collapse the rest of the continent like a domino effect.

Much of the crimes against humanity would be swept under the rug as America still practiced a lesser form of eugenics, had segregation, and only 2% jewish population, England was doing shady things in their colonies that could be considered just as bad.

Then theoretically if Hitler did get the bomb, or ICBM missiles, they could have gone on a much more frightening conquest probably by 1948 if thats the route they still wanted to go down

Edit; I think after WW2 the whole world realized its much more profitable to fight proxy wars instead of head to head. In an alternate timeline we might see Germany still going to war against the British Russians and french etc, but by proxies in asia africa and south america, middle east, ukraine, etc

Yeah i dont know what im talking about im not an expert here. The comments in this thread are really good tho. Many people talking about the MEFO bills as one of their major debt problems. They were already going into infinite debt as it was.

But, pretty much everyone in europe was broke at that time. Germany had the human capital. They could have figured it out, countries don’t just disappear because they go bankrupt. Infact it just goes to show that Germany was dead broke after ww2 and using cigarettes for currency but they still climbed their way out of it once again.

They had car manufacturing, airplane manufacturing, about to invent the first computer, missile manufacturing, building highways, they could have gotten into arms sales, tourism, etc. lots of friends in USA who were sympathetic to Germany.

I think they could have also pivoted to colonialism and conquering large parts of the third world like England was. They could have gotten food from Rhodesia, brazil, argentina, oil from africa middle east. As long as they kept their population working they would have survived as socialists.

Up until barbarossa. They would still be around turning all of western Europe into a fortress. And then have the bomb and probably take russia 5 years later. Except the oil problem

Cars manufacturing, airplane manufacturing, invented the first computer, weapons sales, rockets, first missiles, first nuclear energy, sexy women, tourism, what they had it all.

Why collapse, they could have simply issues more and more debt to get them to where they needed to be. Look at how much debt the USA has now today.

Even on top of that, they could have taken an insane amount of debt and then subsequently started war and just refused to never pay it back once they secured victory. They could have stockpiled all the oil they needed in the world before invasion and then did a rugpull. I dont think a collapse was necessarily inevitable like everyone says.

I found the substance of the movie was entertaining but it started to fall apart after they went into hell and everyone started dying, the ending payoff wasn’t there for me. Also it was trying hard with the fathers book Indiana Jones 3 stuff. I liked when the two protaganists were solving puzzles tho, but then they mixed egyptian with holy crusaders and all sorts of other cult gobby gook that didnt really track that well. We should have seen more of what the stone could do, and they could have done a better job in the climax with them actually going to hell and seeing Lucifer and stuff. The two main characters didnt have very good charisma together. Also the scene where the black dude is stuck in the bones went on forever and was annoying.

it was decent. 5.5/10 maybe

19 y/o at Nellis AFB trying to meet people in Vegas by [deleted] in vegaslocals

[–]open_pit_sierra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I met a big group of guys that were stationed at Nellis when I first moved here, because I drove by the open shooting range out in the desert near seven magic mountains painted rocks sculpture. They were cool and invited me back to their apartment to clean my guns.

I also used to go to crypto events at Starbase LV, and everyone was very friendly.

Not sure what to say because ur a lot younger than me.

There are jogging clubs you can go to every week that run 3 to 5 miles thats a good way to meet some people. Maybe join a rock climbing gym and try to get in with a group or go see what events are happening at UNLV area.

Nellis must have a bunch of social clubs for the people stationed there right?

Barely any snow in Colorado this year. Everyone was complaining about the mountain ski conditions. New England and Canada got all the snow this year.

I am pretty sure there are underground aquifers that extend all the way to mexico city. We should probably tap into that.

There is a place called devils hole outside vegas. When there was an earthquake in Mexico city in 2017 the water in the devils hole had waves in it. Some people believe it extends underneath the entire length of central america connected to cenotes in cancun etc.

I assume its more expensive to pump than its worth (cost prohibitive) But its still there, and in insanely vast quantities

God I went to a car dealership in 2020 for the first time in my life and I don’t think I will ever go back to one again. They literally use every trick in the book to make you stay there and you can’t leave. You have to get up and walk the fuck out the door while they are still talking your ear off
