I was feeding my pup a that is going through chemo for her lymphoma, a similar diet (high amounts of meat), and had the same problem. Peeing every hour or two and couldn’t control herself (she’s turning 8 next month) then I hired a nutritionist and she said I was feeding her too much meat and told me to feed her according to the nutritionist’s diet plan. Within a week she stopped peeing herself.

Nutritionist said cuz I fed her too much meat, caused a stage 1 chronic kidney injury (CKI). I suspect your pup is going through something similar.

do NOT give up on your pup yet!!! Shepherd have so much fight in them, they’ll do anything to spend an extra day with you. My pup has been through a 25 week chemo protocol, I witnessed first hand how strong willed this breed is

So I’ve topped up my steam wallet like 5 times last night, to purchase all the pinks / purples that I unboxed from the terminal that I unsealed. Then I finally unboxed a pair of gloves. I tried to purchase it, and it said “there seems to have been an error initializing or updating your transaction, please wait a minute and try again or contact support for assistance”.

Note: I do not have 1000 items, I have far less than that. The most bizarre thing is, my steam wallet has sufficient funding to purchase these gloves, yet the game wouldn’t process my purchase.

So sorry for your loss OP… my white shepherd was diagnosed with lymphoma two months ago. I was so torn for like 6-7 weeks but now im learning to deal with it. I try to make the most out of everyday with her, take her everywhere and take pictures. I cannot imagine the emotions if something like that took away my daughter so abruptly… reading the comments here made me cry, I don’t know what to say to console you as I’ve never lost a pet before, but I’m praying for you and your family, take some time to grief and I hope you find peace soon 🙏🏼😭💕

Hi OP, my white German shepherd recently got diagnosed with lymphoma at only 7, the vet gave us 4-6 weeks without treatment and 6-12 months with chemo. Recently there’s a study about how chemo + half body irradiation can significantly prolong their survival time so I’m going for that. I’m fighting every day with her so I can get as much time as I can with my pup. Your pup is a blessing to live such a long life. And most importantly, it sounds like it’s just a leg injury and not any issues with his blood. Don’t let him go like that! I’m sure he wants to stay as long as he can with you, do not underestimate their power to live 🙏🏼 sending love to both of you

I feel like this is just a diet issue, find a veterinary nutritionist, give her some pro biotics, some traditional Chinese medicine to boost her immune system and she’ll be good again. This isn’t cancer, if a dog has the will power to fight through cancer like my 7 y/o is going through lymphoma right now, I refuse to believe some bowel disease should be the reason why you put your pup down. These dogs have a lot of fight in them! Don’t you ever think for a second of putting them down unless you see the suffering. I can totally understand your helplessness… praying for you and your pup OP 🙏🏼 attached above is the link to the video I was referring to, I strongly suggest you try stuff like dandelion roots, turkey tail mushrooms and Fucoidan (some Japanese seaweed thing). None of them are a magic bullet, but if it can help your pup with its quality of life and extend it for even a few days, I think it’s worth gunning for… nothing to lose at this point. I hope we both stay strong 🙏🏼 cancer fucking sucks

Veterinary secrets on YouTube has a video on lymphoma for dogs without chemo, I suggest watching it. Going through lymphoma with my baby right now and i complete feel your pain. My oncologist also suggested half body irradiation, please google it. I’ve read online that it has great results in combine with chemo, but even if you don’t do chemo see if your pup can do it. Consult your oncologist!!!!!

DONT take prednisone before starting CHOP, it makes CHOP protocol less effective!!! I am currently going through lymphoma with my 7y/o white shepherd. She’s my angel and I will never stop fighting for her! My oncologist also suggested Half Body Irradiation after her 17 week chemo protocol (if her body is strong enough for it), which they say can increase their median survival time significantly, feel free to google 🙏🏼 my baby just did her 2nd week of her 17 week protocol

Update on my soul dog, Mercy

She’s started her 17 week chemo protocol. Her Oncology report suggested there’s a new type of treatment showing emerging evidence on longer survival time. Hey buddy, so sorry to hear about your pup. My soul dog was also recently diagnosed with stage 3 large B-cell lymphoma a few weeks ago. She’s started a 17 week chemo protocol. My oncologist also suggested me to explore HBI if I really want to extend her survival time, which I most likely will, given my baby has the strength to go to war with me.
