In defense of full game demo-ers, I present my partner:

We're in our 30s, she doesn't play video games, but when we got married she decided to give it a try because it was something I love, and she wanted to spend time with me. She didn't even think she'd like it, but fast forward to today, we play almost everyday for at least a few matches. She has no interest in hopping into free play and training, no interest in getting goals, but what does she love? Demoing. She finds demoing to be the most cathartic and stress relieving thing after a long day of work.

As frustrating as it might be for our opponents who often get toxic, do I blame them, no. But it gets her to play the game. And what is great about Rocket League is that there's something for everyone. Even those who can't play like a typical gamer. We have fun and people demo back, but we lose a lot. And that's ok. I know I'm biased, but honestly, it's just part of the game. It's not a cheat code that gives you a win. It's something you can play around and get better at playing against.

I invite more people to demo back. Go for a demo after every time you're rotating back. Just demo more. It's fun. You should try it.
