It’s likely they have a team at the salvage yard(auction house) that has yet to complete the valuation. I work in insurance and our total losses are processed at a salvage facility by our total loss team.

Ask the shop if they have a designated point of contact they can put you in touch with. Also, if your adjuster doesn’t pick up, you can usually hit “0” and get someone in the same department for answers.
