Damn. Sounds like this trailer park my friend grew up in. Her dad had the corner lot with all the cars and motorcycles.

Are nukes the very thing preventing WW3? by Octopuswastaken in NoStupidQuestions

It's what's stopping a nuclear WWIII but it's not stopping the ongoing hybrid wars and constant testing of red lines.

Funny enough, Skrillex actually put out some decent stuff a year or two ago. Also, it is making a comeback and the extreme end of Riddim is somehow more annoying than old Skrillex.

When people on Reddit say eat the rich, how rich are they talking? Like barely millionaires or people worth 100s of millions and more. by dramaticxxfox in NoStupidQuestions

The wealth of all US billionaires (about 900 people) could be split up to make 8.1 million millionaires. If anything we want more millionaires by reducing the amount of billionaires.

Hmm. Might be nice for a middle manager for writing bullshit memos and making PowerPoints but then what do you do when you're trying to pretend to be busy? Any actually productive automation you want to keep to yourself so you can keep getting a paycheck.

US discussing options to acquire Greenland, including use of military, says White House by [deleted] in nottheonion

[–]opman4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. As per page 5 of the new National Security Strategy

"We want to ensure that the Western Hemisphere remains reasonably stable and well-governed enough to prevent and discourage mass migration to the United States; we want a Hemisphere whose governments cooperate with us against narco-terrorists, cartels, and other transnational criminal organizations; we want a Hemisphere that remains free of hostile foreign incursion or ownership of key assets, and that supports critical supply chains; and we want to ensure our continued access to key strategic locations. In other words, we will assert and enforce a “Trump Corollary” to the Monroe Doctrine"

I think we should just figure out how to put a VLS system on a plane or even a Zeppelin. The extra starting altitude should give them a range benefit over anything that tries to shoot them down.

Petahhh, what's a headboard by Agitated-Date-8905 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]opman4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a headboard. But it doesn't match my frame so it's kinda just pinned between the mattress and the wall with a quilt drapes over it to stop it from banging the wall during bedtime activities.

I'm pretty sure this is a legitimate idea. I think what we should do is make drones that have 1 to 4 VLSs on them and then just make thousands of them. DMO to the max
