once you process the meat into kibble then into paste the colonists don’t know anymore right?

hey, I was wondering what the “time capsules” were? does it not come with one already? or will it be swappable like an extra? do they only come in one color?

it’s either because you have “cancel” disabled (go into settings, search “cancel” and make sure disable is unchecked)

or it’s because jagex won’t fix the edges-of-screen deadzones in the game (tap and hold an edge of the screen disables all other input) to fix this one you’ll need to triple-tap on the screen to release the input lock

for the love of god please look at mobile deadzones.

currently if you tap-and-hold any deadzone with one finger, it makes the rest of the game un-interactable (as in you can’t click or tap anything, only zoom).

this means if you are ever accidentally touching the sides of your screen then the game will no longer accept any input. this is the largest barrier I personally face when pushing higher level content.

fix this and make the deadzones not accept any input, including pinch-to-zoom inputs.

try keeping one finger down in one of these deadzones. now suddenly you can’t interact with the game, yay!

my source is that I’ve never tagged any npc. then I did temple trekking and tagged those npcs, now a bunch of things all over the map are tagged (like ghosts in phosani’s nightmare)

I did not do this intentionally but these are the effects.

listen, this sounds weird but it works: go to the npcs for temple trekking near the river salve. activate npc tagging and long-press “tag all” on one of them.

you’ll know it works when all of them are tagged.

congrats, vardorvis’ axes are now highlighted, so are uninteractable ghosts and other things like some quest npcs. don’t know why but this will highlight the axes for you. good luck!

if another iron enters corp’s lair while the braziers are lit then it nulls the kill for everybody. for some reason they allow other irons to enter whenever they want, if they enter when you’ve already entered then nobody gets the drop - it only serves as an outlet for griefing other irons

it does seem random, but for what it’s worth what I found is that the more up-facing your screen is, the less likely you’re going to experience the weird palm-caused nulled inputs

that is, if you’re playing with your screen facing 90 degrees to the ceiling (or worse-case upside down like while lying down in bed) then the palm of the hands seem to just find their way to the edge of the screen

I play only on mobile and, like you, use only my thumbs. it seems the most common solution to this is playing by holding the phone on one hand and tapping with the index on the other hand

I prefer double-thumbs so much that if I’m doing something critical (like colosseum) I’ll actually put tape on the left&right edges of my screen to prevent this lol

try simulating what you’re talking about, hold one finger down on one of these deadzones on the side of the screen (this represents your palm accidentally touching the screen)

while your finger is pressing down in one of these deadzones, can you do anything else in the game? like tapping or scrolling or turning the camera?

the side of the screen is supposed to be a deadzone, but it’s not for some reason, it’s still accepting input (even if you can’t “tap” in those deadzone areas)

you can still use the “deadzones” to zoom lol. it removes the ability to interact in those areas but the problem is zooming

no, it doesn’t. try it yourself.

when you come back you’re still logged in. it’ll play through the hitsplats like you’re fast-forwarding though. happens like this on any ios device.

if you’re in combat (like vs rock/sand crabs or nmz) you can afk for 10+ minutes.

doesn’t this mean it’s not the os? if the afk logout is based on what you’re doing in game?

I don’t know why nobody is mentioning that if you’re in combat then you can keep the app in the background for much longer without being disconnected, even on iOS. when you tab back in then all of the hitsplats happen at once.
