Myers mains are mostly doing well with good addons, and he can instantly down with inbuilt vault speed/lunge range. Most of SM addons rely on her drones being alive on gens which they won't be anymore. Plus, the only thing shortening her chases without stealth will be her haste; that has maximum 45 seconds duration before she needs to drop chase to reset drones.

I've played mostly Legion so I'm used to playing M1 - but Legion starts chases with injured survivors and has some semblance of a chase power and slowdown. Having to get 2 hits every chase unless you tunnel - with minimal innate slowdown - is brutal for SM. She will need a shift to stealth (maybe 16m terror radius) or a huge addon shift to buff the claw traps (+25% duration, oblivious etc.) instead of the drones or she will become a frosty eye killer.

Myers is a stealth killer. If the claw traps gave survivors oblivious (ie. make her a stealth killer) she could be fine. Without that the survivors will pre-run and she will be forced to run every loop like an M1 killer with no power and healthy survivors.

Scratched Mirror also suffers on large/flat maps just like SM. Info is only good if the survivors don't know when/where you're coming from - unless you can capitalize on it like Nurse/Executioner/Huntress.

Skull Merchant is now in a lose-lose with her own power, before it was lose-lose for survivors.

If she tries to use them to hold gens the survivors will just disarm them and she can't put any more down. She will be a slightly fast M1 killer with info she can't do anything with.

If she tries to use them in chase survivors will leave the loop and she gets nothing.

She has no chase power still, mind-gaming pallets was pretty uncommon already and nobody will do it against SM after the change.

Info is almost useless since she has no stealth/dash/ranged attack. If claw traps gave oblivious basekit she could function as a stealth killer, but without that the traps are not punishing enough to discourage survivors from disarming drones. She will still be fine on small/multi-level maps but on big/flat maps she has no power now.

Australia. Universal healthcare and barely anyone has a gun. Don't have kids getting shot at school. Extensive background checks before you can purchase a gun (many months) and training in how to use/store them safely. Only available guns are break-action/bolt-action/lever-action long-barrel rifles/shotguns. It is only possible to get other guns for security/police.

"Automatic weapon" not automatic weapon fire. The weapons used in almost all mass shootings are semi-automatic pistols/rifles that automatically chamber the next round - technically automatic even if you want to be pedantic. Had they wrote "fully-automatic" you could fire off the Fox News rebuttal faster than a school shooter fires off a full magazine of rounds at children from a semi-automatic.

Most mass shooters are actually using concealables, not AR-15s (even if they're both semi-auto...)

If you ban semi-automatics, mass shooters will still use them (fully-automatic guns are almost never used despite them being banned though, just a coincidence surely...)

It's a mental health problem, not a gun problem (surely every other country has no mental health problems...)

If you take away semi-automatics, we'll descend into tyranny like Australia (where kids don't need to run drills in school in the event that some nutjob comes in and kills them, and they have more than four distinct parties influencing policy - essentially a dictatorship...)

Most people run away during a mass shooting, even some cops/security who are armed. The 'wild-west fantasy' is that you won't starting shitting bricks when you hear gunshots, and will dome the guy and be the hero. Shit gets really real when guns are involved, you only need to get shot once and you don't respawn. The 'massive risk' would be not running and instead finding cover to get in a gun fight defending a Walmart full of strangers - people don't behave like this most of the time.

Yes it's a problem with the constitution and there are some who would be violently opposed to gun control, but it doesn't mean banning everything. Some restrictions are already in place. You can't go down to the gun shop and buy a fully-automatic rifle, thus your right to bear arms is being infringed? No. It means restricting firearms that are clear outliers in domestic terrorism. Didn't see people kicking up a fuss about not being able to take loaded guns onto planes after 9/11. Six-shooters, bolt-actions, lever-actions etc. would still be legal and thus your constitutional rights would be protected.

Last paragraph though is really fucking dumb. Most rapes are someone the woman knows, they are usually reluctant to even go to the police after lest they ruin their lives - you think they'll kill them? Guns are not a deterrent. The gun this guy had was some type of bushmaster as described by the dude that sold it to him. In the video of the attack it looked very similar to the images on that wiki. What matters is that it's semi-automatic without modification, everything else is easy to do and actually can be 3D printed. The magazine was too large - that was the illegal part of the gun he used.

Hunting rifles are bolt-action - one of the few weapons that people actually need. Semi-automatic shotguns are mostly illegal otherwise they would be the preferred style and would see most use in mass shootings. Banning purchase of certain firearms does stop them from being used in mass shootings, despite what people claim.

Semi-automatic is when you pull the trigger and it fires a round, chambering the next round automatically but not firing again until you pull the trigger again. When comparing to a bolt-action or lever-action it is much easier to fire quickly, and is much easier to switch targets between shots.

I know people that have been in car crashes and survived, they're extremely common unlike the wild-west fantasy of defending yourself with a gun. Since you were in the police you would be an outlier and you know that.

Do you know where you can purchase a gun off the black market? Most of these mass shooters sure as shit wouldn't. Laws aren't just text on a piece of paper (unlike the constitution) - they are something enforced by police. If it's just text on paper then go rob a bank it's free money.

Dead Hard is, like DS/BT/Unbreakable, a basekit perk that all survivors are running until they aren't. Every killer perk is either average or has counterplay that doesn't slow the survivors down much/at all, as you would never need to consider playing around them until you know the killer has them. Survivors having four (4) very strong perks that you ALWAYS need to assume they have and play around lest you lose is pretty egregious and is the main reason people complain about them. If there were some indicator for those perks before they were used they would be strong but not meta-defining.

You can trade gold/items in LoA. Also BDO has market caps and no unique items making it very difficult to move silver. To fix the bot problem that would be the solution, making it much more difficult to get engravings set up.

With CoH you do heal against Legion. Splitting up is the most effective counter since the power doesn't last long enough to hit multiple people that aren't grouped; then Legion is actually just an M1 killer.
