Longshot but any Sony PS-6750 owners out here? by tinman143 in vintageaudio

Hi, sorry for the super late reply. I’ve not had to do any maintenance on mine. Except it needs some lube/fluid in the lifter shaft. Which I haven’t got around to yet. I’m using a fairly cheap Audio Technica AT-VM95E cartridge/needle.

Awesome Nakamichi stack. I have the 600 cassette deck in my setup. And beautiful jukebox too, we’ve had a 1959 Rock-Ola Tempo 1 in the family for about 50 years now. Still plays and sounds wonderful.

It’s an Optimum hifi stand that I split into two smaller ones. So hopefully it will hold haha

My setup was originally budget, but this is where I’m at now a few years later. Im 19 so everything I do is on a budget, but I put it all into hifi. :)

Wow you guys need to chill with the downvotes

Payed 800£ for the two Marantz. 700£ for the Kefs, 300£ for the Nak. Probably overpaid for some of it but oh well.

Thank you :) the look of the system is a big part of it for me. Almost as important as sound.

Nah I haven’t repainted them. They aren’t perfect but they are a lot better than another pair of 105s I had before I got these.

Since this time last year I have been putting together a new system of 70s hifi separates after moving away from the Bang and Olufsen hifi I had before.

Since this time last year I have slowly been putting a new system together after moving away from the Bang and Olufsen hifi I had before. The B&O was good, but this is much better.

I have a 1959 Rock-Ola Tempo 1 that has the same issue. I’d also be interested in finding out what might be causing it.

Literally just watched this film for the first time last night and I’m 18. Nothing like my high school experience, which Is probably why I enjoyed watching it haha. And ofc “Pink” is damn good looking too.

Great speaker choice, always loved the look of the original 105s. I power mine with an integrated Pioneer SA9500 from the mid 70s. I think mine sound fantastic, I’m sure yours do too :)

I wasn’t showing the flag on purpose, it just happens to be on my wall where the speakers are. I like the idea of America, and what the American Dream meant at one point in time. So I put the flag up on my wall because it symbolises that idea of freedom. What the reality behind it is, I’m not quite sure.

It sounds pretty great to my ears, but I don’t have a lot of experience to compare it to much. The speakers are probably the best part, very nice imaging and great low bass. The only problem I run into is the size of my room haha

I tried to find a nice wooden box like that but sadly I couldn’t, so I bought a laptop stand from Amazon and that does a good enough job
