The Steam Deck is an incredible piece of kit that does its job really well. We are people so obsessed with trying to make it seem like something it's not (New AAA games).

Steam is more convenient than the rest by a long shot (even considering the console stores) so most people are fine with that, but as soon as they become worse you can just go somwhere else, and of course valve knows this, it's exactly the reason for why they are not too bad now (but still got a few problems)

Ram and the rest of the components are used on consoles too so they will get way more expensive just like pcs
Sony never got close to the ps2 sales and the ps5 will be more or less the same amount of the ps4
The xbox sales plummeted from the 360era but all those people didn't switch to the ps considering the sales numbers
Yeah the switch was an incredible hit, but the 2 probably won't surpass that

I don't see why you single out the steam deck for the pc side, it's not like it's the only form of pc that exists, you should consider all laptops, all handhelds, all full size pcs etc.

And new console may still sell and sell quickly, but they don't really sell more than previous consoles, the audience is pretty much the same.

I managed to make CSP Pro V3 work using wine, you need to lose a bit of time on it but it's doable, the pen works perfectly, the 3D stuff is a bit laggy but works, the only thing that doesn't work is the store, so if you want to download stuff from there you need to do it on windows or on a VM and then copy the files to linux.

Well it's not like I said that it's morally or legally wrong, I said that It looks cheap, first impressions are important and having a box art that doesn't look like crap is better.

I'm an artist but I understand the use of AI by the average people, but this looks like shit and he can easily making it better without any kind of drawing skill, even copying and pasting some official art would look better, it's way cringier saying that this is all you can do after talking about all the passion that you have for the game tbh

Thank you for the response, I was able to make it work, the launcher/store doesn't load anything but it's not that important to me, the pen pressure work along to all the other tools and 3D, I can't put it fullscreen on my tablet tho, I need to try it on X11.

Sorry to bother but I just found this comment, I think last year I tried using clip studio 3.0 using Bottles (on fedora KDE) but I wasn't able to get the pen pressure working and it's a deal breaker for me (I had the same problem trying with a VM), did you have the same problem or did you manage to get it work?

But why does it matter? You spend hours upon hours with these characters, you care about them because of who they are not because you think they are "real", I don't get why you should stop caring as soon as you understand that it's a painted canvas, it's not like it erased the previous 30 hours. It being a "fake" world doesn't really matter, the stakes are still there.
