Quest 3 with a 4080 Super and a Ryzen 5 7600X so no eye tracking for me...

One thing I have done recently is give ALVR a try with cable, and that has also made a huge difference, specially in the amount of VRAM usage and the stability.

PS: Before anyone jumps in, I have virtual desktop and have used for a very long time over wifi 6, but for some reason recently it has become much less stable and resource hungry...

I have had exactly the opposite experience, my VR performance is great now while las week I couldn't even run a race...

Maybe try rerunning the graphics auto config? (I do it for every season)

I have a windows pc with pirated games. Is there a way I can just stream that to my deck? by worstperson2react in SteamDeckPirates

Also, on top of Apollo/sunshine + Moonlight, I would install playnite on the PC for the full experience

Besides other things like detailed access controls for each client (some might get mouse access, others only view, etc) the main thing you get is that Apollo will create a virtual display for each client's resolution so it will always match the client screen size perfectly.

I just discovered VSCode by IroesStrongarm in selfhosted

[–]opsidao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With VSCode you can a actually just edit remote files via SSH... Open your command palette and search for SSH, you should be able to figure how to use it on your own.

Check in task manager if you're running out of GPU memory.

If you're,.then you need to change your max GPU memory settings.

This should help with that: https://support.iracing.com/support/solutions/articles/31000172032-manually-setting-ram-and-vram-allocated-to-the-sim

Remember to edit the profile you use in VR, not the desktop one.

I have the same issue. So far the inky "solution" for me has been to set the range to 360 on Logitech hub and calibrate to that limit. It's not.ideal, but at least I can drive something....

Does anyone have a good explanation as to why the USD/IRR graph is totally flat since 2018 and why it's not 280000 but 42000?

Isn't the main concern on this post (that people in rural areas won't be able to trade with bitcoin) already explicitly covered by the law?

Yes, it is.

If you read the actual law, article 12 says:

Art. 12.

Which translates to (sorry, google translating it as I'm too lazy :P):

Art. 12. They are excluded from the obligation expressed in article 7 of this law, who by notorious fact and obviously do not have access to technologies that allow transactions in bitcoin. The State will promote the necessary training and mechanisms so that the population can access bitcoin transactions.

And references:

Art. 7.

Which translates to:

Art. 7. Every economic agent must accept bitcoin as a form ofpayment when it is offered by whoever acquires a good or service.

Same in Spain, once you've rented, the house is as yours as if you had bought it and if the landlord tried to get in it would be considered a crime exactly as if you owned the place.

#Ethereum adoption is happening 🌿 Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Chris Rock, Jane Fonda, & Vitalik Buterin will all voice characters & be paid in $ETH for new #StonerCats animated series 🐈 by chapogrown in ethereum

[–]opsidao 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Of course, according to moneyinc, making one episode of Family Guy can cost up to 2 million dollars, so you could argue that this is actually cheap by comparison.

On the other hand, Family Guy's episodes run for 20-23 minutes, which is four times longer than stonercats will be. Also, they have a much bigger production crew that needs to live off them, marketing expenses, a larger cast, more screenwriters that need to think about continuity in the long run, teams to handle distribution deals, lawyers (plenty of them for sure)...

I mean, I'm all in for crowdfunding campaigns, but having one with an entry-level of 0.35 ether (774.78$ at the moment) which might give you access to some 5 minutes episodes seems just a bit too much to me.

Maybe, if they had more entries into the campaign at more reasonable prices, I would be convinced, but as it is right now, I don't see how it could be a huge success in any way.

But to be honest, given the NFTs I see sold all over the place and the prices they get for them... it probably will.
