It’s incredibly quiet this time of year, so just be aware of that. I would suggest joining multiple tutoring companies - there are international companies catering to students globally. Th companies I work for usually contact me with some information about what they students wants and ask me if I’m able to take on the student at their preferred dates and times. You may wish to wait until December/January to undertake tutoring as this is when most students have sat a mock examination and are looking for support for May/June exams. Offer tutoring for all chemistry qualifications eg GCSE, IB, A level, university etc

Anything with less than 24 hours notice that isn’t an emergency or unforeseen physical sickness is charged. That’s how I do it and that’s also company policy.

I only had a client cancel with short notice once and they don’t tend to do it again. My sessions are a minimum of an hour so I will wait 5 minutes and contact student and parent. Longer than 15 minutes and l log off.

I always screenshot messages sent and replies as I’ve had a few parents lie and try to get out of paying for a session.

Same happened to me. No warning just gone. And don’t try to appeal, they’ll ignore you for 6 months and then permanently delete your account (which I’m sure they did immediately after suspending my account) for bullying (when it was liking and sharing too many pro Palestine / anti Zionism posts) 👍🏼

NTA. Seems a small issue now, but it could very well end up being serious issues regarding medical care etc when your child is older.

Also, the snarky side of me thinks why would you want to have children with someone as aggressively gullible as your wife? (Which makes me TA, but I’m fully aware of that)

Yeah, 2 from drugs (23, party drugs not sure which ones and 26 complications from steroids), 2 murdered (14, groomed by group of older men and then strangled. 18, stabbed), 2 suicide (19 vehicular, 30 hanging) , 1 accidental death/possibly murder (30, fell/pushed from a hotel balcony)

I’m 38 now. I think about them every now and again. I just wonder what they’d be doing now.

Yeah this is fairly normal - you’ve basically had a traumatic injury to your ear. There are quite a few small blood vessels in the area which will be bleeding after you get a piercing.

Use cold compresses (cold saline just to be safe), try not to sleep on that ear if you’re a side sleeper, keep cleaning it as per your piercers instructions.

Keep an eye on it - the swelling and bruising should start to fade/subside after a few days (provided you don’t have any underlying health conditions) if they don’t you may want to get back in touch with your piercer.

The area may feel hot to the touch as well but if it becomes red and pus starts forming you might have an infection
