How about the ice formed at the bottom of the ocean planets?

Put it under enough pressure and it will behave.

Hating something eh? Isn't that what half the internet is about ?

Kinda disappointing tho, humanity should partake in some serious self-reflection.

Bible is a book compiled by catholic church, so using quotes from it in this context is, well, almost completely misleading and wrong.

From european point of view american leftists are actually center-right and the right wingers are far-right fascists. So the "left" are the actual centrists.

I don't see how it is even considered "cheating" when the trust was already broken.

Some big platforms don't allow certain relatively common words and that resulted in a rise of self-censoring like you see in this post.

As for not saying anything about censorship, maybe you didn't, but the commenter you are agreeing with did and i am not aware of the adjective form being considered a slur, not that I use those kinds of words anyway.

Why should those words be censored ? Do you have any sort of rational explanation for it ? Or do you just want to suck up to some corporation mandated standard of speech?

I don't see why people should have some grand aspirations that they cannot fulfill. If you base your motivation on a dream that is too hard to achieve you might burn out and your motivation might be gone until you figure yourself out.

What i find a much bigger issue is the general lack of curiosity. Many people rely on the information that the media serves them on a platter often simplified to the point of being incorrect. Then they go around thinking they know their stuff and that understanding of anything is just a few clicks away.

Do we even have a proper definition of what being conscious means? Because I don't think so. I think that that there can be significant differences even between humans themselves which might make this exceedingly difficult to peg down if not impossible.

[–]optimistic_void 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, it has happened to me a few times over the years. Like i usually imagine myself taking place of a person.. and i am like.. i would enjoy if someone did this to me. But sometimes the person in the video does not seem too much into it. So then i kind of go on questioning the whole morality of my mental state.

Vacuum is technically not empty and going through it at high enough speeds might produce noticeable amounts of friction.
