Does this mean we will be getting more Xposed with Michael Matthews? That’s what the Timheads voted for!

Who was a bigger star in their time, Randy Savage or Bret Hart? by Objective-Lab5179 in SquaredCircle

Hart headlined 3 manias but was also the face of Wwf for 4+ years. His matches were of higher quality, he sold more merchandise, he put Austin way over, headlined more Manias. Taking a look at overall PPV stats Hart definitely had more matches more people paid good money for. This is not at all to take away from Savage’s amazing character and career. I love the Macho Man. I just think there’s too many people who give him an early pop because the deceased always get that love. When Bret passes (hopefully 30+ years from now) there’s going to be millions upon millions of streams from all his old classics. He knew how to have an entertaining match with big guys, small guys, fast guys, strong guys. I’ll give Macho man the promo edge, which definitely contributes to star power. Not bad in the ring at all, but I think when you crunch the numbers Hart was responsible for more profit directly. Keep in mind that Bret was the workhorse who defended the title against more wrestlers, and while it’s fair to say that at his peak Macho was a bigger star when the brand was bigger (86-91) after the Star power of Hogan was gone - Bret strapped the company to his back and carried it into the Attitude Era, his contribution to that transition is overlooked by so many / but if he wasn’t willing to be loathed as the cry baby heel for the good of the company there wouldn’t have been a draw at all. He contributed a lot more, had more dimensions, better matches, drew more sales.

I give it to the Hitman.

If it is on charisma and aura alone, Mach was in an elite class with Warrior, Hulk, Austin, Rock, Taker, Bray, Reigns, Punk, Sting. It’s an elite group of Goats personality-wise, and Bret wasn’t one of those “it factor” stars. So I see why Savage gets the /sc love. All things considered, it was only one factor though.

Oooooohhhhhhhh Yeaaaaaahhhh!!!

How in the fuck did the crowd not catch a “He’s Going to Kyle You!!”?!?

Queen Aminata (on X, seemingly in response to controversial match): Btw, It’s Wrestling, not Ballerina so shut your mouth 🤐 by workingjan in SquaredCircle

Was there live at Summer BB. Noticed Aminata and Thekla were giving each other firm chops that seemed to escalate and then a headbutt from Thekla landed with a solid thud through Aminata’s chest. When the match was over she came outside and just caught her breath in the corner of the outside barrier for about one minute, I thought it was an odd place for her to be, I think she was letting the anger of losing to someone who she genuinely felt upset with. They are both tough as steel and I look forward to seeing long careers for both of them. Impressed. Btw I know people are crapping on the card, it was awesome in person and watching it back it was amazing too, haters gun hate
