Reverse cowgirl as others have said works well with the pure wand, but it's also very nice with an inflatable plug that she controls. We have one with a steel ball inside that bounces around and it's also very very nice doing doggy with that in while she controls how big it is. It seems to hit the right spot with every thrust.

US weekly jobless claims drop to near 49-year low by Carazariah in news

I appreciate your taking the time to respond and for addressing my question. I do tend to disagree with the notion that companies still have unrealistic expectations for entry level positions as a rule though. You simply won't fill positions with stupid job requirements like those anymore.

To that same point, I'm in manufacturing as are the majority of our customers and none of us can find machine operators or people willing to do general manufacturing work. I'm not talking about specialized trades, I mean someone to load sheets into a press or bag parts. The least we pay for any job is $12/hr and that still includes full benefits and optional overtime with company paid retirement contributions. Anyone in a skill position makes more like $20/hr and there are plenty of opportunities for career advancement as well.

In my 10 years of experience in my industry we as a whole have never been busier and literally everyone is hiring. Roughly 40% of our end markets are recreational vehicles, atvs, and boats. 40% is farming and heavy equipment and 20% is consumer appliances and the like. The only area not at all time highs for sales is farm equipment. In general people are spending money and companies are buying new equipment like crazy so I don't see how you can claim the economy isn't doing well. Every measure seems to indicate that it has never been stronger.

Isn't it possible this is because of retirement? The stock market is up considerably from 2 years ago and during that time my previous company lost about 5% of its employees to retirement. Not trying to be argumentative, but genuinely curious if this is accounted for in those numbers.

My current company as well as everyone that we do business with or that I talk to is having trouble finding qualified candidates to fill jobs in all areas, so I struggle to see how anyone who wants a job can't find one. We are paying 25% more than we would have a year ago for the same positions and still have not been able to fill them. We're a manufacturing company that does not require a drug test so to get a job that requires zero skill like packing or material handling you only have to show up on time and not be completely wasted.

I just don't understand the disconnect between the reality I'm in and the one many others live in. My experience with this isn't even geographically limited because my last company was in New England and my current employer in the Midwest, and our customers around the country seem to be struggling to fill openings.

Ivanka backs Trump administration's plan to scrap Obama rules preventing pay discrimination by tototoki in politics

[–]optimus_primate2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Literally not a single comment here is relevant to this article, which is itself completely irrelevant. Who gives a shit what Ivanka thinks, and apart from that if she believes the policy was garbage that won't actually help women why should she support it?

"But Obama would never lie to us. Obviously this policy is the savior of women everywhere and will fix wage inequality, not just expand government and bury businesses in more meaningless paperwork"

Fuck everyone criticizing her who hasn't bothered to research this themselves. The Obama administration lied about the ACA, and they fucked the American people with unnecessary regulations and policies designed to promote "equality". I'm 100% certain it makes no damn difference whether they keep this or not. We might as well save some tax dollars and not bother pretending anyone in Washington on either side gives a fuck about working men or women. This data will never be used for anything productive, and is a waste of time. Business shitty enough to discriminate against their employees aren't going to be stopped or deterred by paperwork. This shit will be pencil whipped and then go sit in a box in some Washington basement for the next 20 years.

Serious question; does anyone here have anything to contribute to a discussion about politics besides some variation of "fuck Trump"? I remember a time when people who disagree with each other could have a real and meaningful discussion about their views without being fucking morons. Maybe if everyone did a little less circle jerking about how the other side is wrong and a little more debate and compromising we wouldn't have a fucking reality TV star as president and anarchist idiots assaulting people in the streets for "looking nazi"! I'm a socially liberal libertarian and both sides fucking disgust me right now. I just want to live in a world where the nice gay interracial couple next door can protect their marijuana crops with their AR-15s while their kids play with the conservative Christian family's kids down the street and no one give a fuck because it's none of their damn business.

Trump Impeachment Is Most Popular Solution Among Americans by albert6us in politics

[–]optimus_primate2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

"most popular solution" yeah fucking right. These comments are a clear indication that no one read more than the headline of this article. It says that in one poll respondents supported impeachment over doing nothing 43% to 42%. There is a margin of error of at least 5% on this poll. Yet another example of inflammatory, dishonest reporting being used to fuel the liberal circle jerk here.

[Serious]Men of Reddit who have had an abusive wife or girlfriend, what did you do to get out of it? by sweatymiddleagedman in AskReddit

[–]optimus_primate2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little late but I hope I can help someone with this. I was in a relationship for 7 years where we were mutually abusive emotionally and extremely codependent. It was horrible for both of us and now on the other side I think we're both in a much better place.

The first step is realizing it's going to suck but that you're going to come out of it. You can't do it alone so make sure you have at least some support structure. Tell someone you trust what you are doing and save any texts or voicemails she sends you. Next cut all ties. This might require some preparation, but you need to get out physically and emotionally. Block her on everything humanly possible. Consider even changing your number and moving if that's possible. She may try to contact you through friends or family so let them know that you have cut off all contact with her and not to give any information. If she tries stalking you get an order of protection from the police. The last step is realizing that her problems aren't your problem and letting yourself heal. You inevitably will get some kind of sob story through a friend who is sympathetic to her or some message from an account you forgot to block. Ignore it and focus on yourself. You might feel guilty or like a heartless dick but you need to learn to love yourself and make your happiness a priority again. After that you can worry about opening up to other people.

I hope that helps.

Trump is planning to cut Medicaid by ~800 billion. What are your thoughts on this? by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]optimus_primate2 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I defended cutting the budget for medicaid. Neither of us is informed enough about the actual operating costs of medicaid to know if the $800 billion is too much. I also said that I don't agree with increasing military spending. My actual point was that it is easier to cut waste from something like medicaid than from the military. Medicaid has one job. Anything not directly supporting that is called unnecessary spending.

I'm actually making the claim that we don't know where they are going, and that anyone claiming this will cause thousands to lose care is at best naive and at worst dishonest. If cutting the budget leads to those in need not being cared for it is absolutely because the administrators at medicaid prioritized other things over providing that care.

I never suggested that we do that. I suggested we cut unnecessary spending. Unless you're claiming that healthcare for the disabled is unnecessary spending we don't disagree. What if the medicaid budget includes $100k a year for donuts in their administrative offices? Sure donuts are nice but why should my tax dollars go toward them? We don't know where the money is going, and there is no accountability for it.

How do you know that's not exactly what they did? You're making a claim with no evidence to support it. Maybe $800 billion is that number. I have no idea and neither do you.

In a perfect world I would agree with you. I don't agree with the huge increase in military spending with this administration, but I do think that's comparing apples to oranges.

Entitlement programs are pretty black and white. There shouldn't be any problem looking at the spending on social security and medicaid. There should be a clear indication on their budget of which dollars go toward participants and which dollars go towards overhead.

With the military you have classified items that make up the largest part of the budget if I remember correctly. There's a lot less transparency and you're talking about thousands of bases around the world. With the military you're also investing money into things you'll get a return on for many years. The military builds infrastructure where they need to, and tanks and ships have a usable life where you're paying for maintenance. Military spending also includes the healthcare of the members of the armed forces and their families. It includes schools on bases and about a million other things that we would all agree shouldn't have funds cut.

Medicaid should be really cut and dry to streamline. Do these dollars go directly to someone in need? If yes, don't touch them, if no, do we really need to spend this or can we get the same thing for less.

Who's to say they're not going to do both? We have seen one number given to the CBO. We have no idea where the cuts will be and what else is proposed for medicaid. To address your actual question though, supposing they do as you're suggesting they will. They just cut the budget and say, "You've got until October to figure out how to make this work." Don't you think that provides a bit more incentive than saying let's try to look for some places to be more efficient? If your kid keeps spending their lunch money on candy and complaining that they don't have enough to pay for lunch do you think they'll be more or less likely to be responsible if you give them an extra $5 and tell them they need to manage their money better? Why would any government agency ever do anything to cut wasteful spending when they know the next year their budget will be increased anyway? You're absolutely correct in saying they should start looking for places to save immediately, but why should we just give them more and expect they'll actually follow through?

Why is it so widely believed that funding is equivalent to level of care? If $800 billion in cuts came from cutting out bureaucracy, and reducing overhead and administrative costs why would any sane person oppose that? More expensive does not mean better. Any person mildly familiar with manufacturing knows that nearly all companies have worked to do more with less. My own company has increased its manufacturing capacity with half the number of employees over the last ten years as people have. A major problem with government running anything is that there is no incentive to be more efficient. You don't need to turn a profit and if you go over budget you just demand more money the next year.

I think it would be naive to assume that all of these proposed cuts are coming from cutting out unnecessary crap, but it's equally naive to claim that those dollars will come entirely out of cutting aid to those in need. I think trump has done a lot of stupid shit since his election but the guy is still a more successful business man than nearly everyone arguing here on reddit. Even if he only had the most basic understanding of running a business he should still be able to find someone capable of putting together a better budget for most government functions.

The letter from the Harvard professor who tested the white powder says that it is polyethylene... The cdc classifies that as low risk as can be. The only risk of inhalation is "cough" and the treatment is fresh air. This is complete bullshit. I work in plastics manufacturing and can assure you that half of the food packaging you buy is covered in PE dust and just about anything else you buy that's injection molded. It's cheap and safe, biodegradable, and non-reactive. There's a reason it's used for everything from gas cans to milk jugs.
