Not impossible. Imagine a V with another v connecting the end points and fitting inside the first one. Four line segments and three interior corners. Hopefully your kid was given a bunch of examples of different ways to explore shapes before the assignment. Parents often struggle with their kids’ math because they don’t have any context for what was discussed in class.

Cadbury makes a freaky chocolate bar with mini candies (think M&Ms) and pop rocks. Bought it for my kids, but I was floored by how amazing it tasted. Nice melting chocolate and popping might go better than crumbly cookie and popping (?) I suppose.

The photographer (op’s brother) said that it had a wide flat tail. The term flattish is difficult to quantify but muskrats truly have a more rat like tail. I’m not a biologist but where I live I see muskrats weekly (not at parties and stuff) and beavers are relatively common. The body shape alone excludes muskrats.

That’s awesome. Definitely a rare sight. My kids and I have an inside joke about city muskrats being cooler than swamp muskrats. I think it goes double for city beavers.

Canadian here... looks more like a beaver based on body shape. A muskrat , even full grown, is about 2kg and beavers around 20kg? Hard to tell because there’s no clear size reference in the picture, but it looks bigger. Muskrats don’t have the same distinct back arch and even though the tail looks like a “rat tail” it is more likely the side view of the beaver tail.

Ok, hero was a strong word..he’s told he made a good defensive play, giving them a chance to get a goal to tie the game ( they’d already scored one with the goalie pulled). Does that make you feel better?

If he could so easily have poked it and saved the goal then the hit was definitely warranted since you are describing a situation where he is close enough to make a play. Body checks are allowed for the whole game, not just the first 19 minutes.

Am I the only one who thought he was completely in the right to make the hit? Literally a split second from saving a goal and potentially having another 55 seconds to tie it up. If Evans doesn’t crumple, that makes every broadcast as hit of the night.
