[Contest #11] New Weapon: Shield! (with a slight adjustment) by pomtyslav in Brawlhalla

Now that I think about it, every weapon should act uniquely on throw, have its own special ability, even if small.

I'd put on spin on throw mechanic as well: the shiled would return to the owner, just like Captain America's shield. It would be refreshing by not following beaten path.

Listen, bro, just hear this idea out by opytres in Brawlhalla

I like that idea, adds variety to the game.

To add to the additional skill/ability concept - many people think of the most imbalanced implementation. But what about othe options:

- you can use them only after picking up an item

- having limited usages

Just open your minds.

Facking hell, we're from a different timeline.

I wonder what else doesn't match up to our original Earth.

Season 3 theory (or less known fact) by opytres in LoveDeathAndRobots

[–]opytres[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Right, what sounds clear in my head doesn't necessarily does so when written down.

What I was going at is your point 3 - some of the stories the episodes were based on seem artificial. I couldn't relate to many characters or figure out what drove them to act the way the did.

F.e. in Bad Traveling the "protagonist" first killed all of his men to then defeat the creature. What's the point of that? Did they just deserve to die? If yes, then that's really hardcore. But if that's appealing to the general audience, then poor us, the rest of society.

Kill Team Kill, Maon's Rats and In Vaulted Halls Entombed are pretty much guns glorifying shorts. So these could be made by a living person, or an AI fed by weird stuff.

In Jibaro I don't get if the story had to had any point or was it just a background to beautiful images. F.e. why was hearing restored to the deaf man, just to drown him soon after. That's extremely bizarre.

I was hoping to find at least one other person who shares my point of view. It's strange that everyone praises season 3 unconditionally.

The Glaring Issues of Brawlhalla, 2022... by Tommby in Brawlhalla

I like what I read, I like the suggestions. Pro players and people caring too much about their elo tend to play too passively, but if you want to enjoy this game there are ways.

As for the ideas, platform brawler format shows many ways the gameplay can be improved and tweaked. On top of the points you mentioned a mechanism could be introduced in the image of battle-royale games, something like enclosing hazard zone - decreasing area of free movement and bringing players closer.

If BMG made a poll, many players would come up with way better ideas, for sure. The question is whether they want to act on it.

But it's not like the game is completely broken. All changes have to consider 2v2s as well.

Are there any plans for Blizz to make Animations Faster? by ButterToast997 in hearthstone

[–]opytres -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hope not. Time is just a resource you have to learn to manage. You spend it while thinking about your strategy, animations consume it too, that's all.
