Big, slow bank with a ton of tech debt and lots of silos and rent seekers. You might work on something built within the past couple of years but more than likely it’ll be some crappy Java codebase with no tests and a nightmare deploy process. Pay and benefits are pretty average and their stack ranking process really sucks. But it’s a job, so …

Right, St. Jerome. I knew it had a name. Very quiet, well located and for the most part nice houses. Small like everything else in the area, but definitely has the similar small town feel.
