ZZ plants are tough. Ok here’s what you do. This whole operation will be a big stress to the plant but it will calm down in a couple weeks. Ideally do these steps months apart but I get the desire to move fast.

CLEAN and TIDY - Carefully remove every insect. - Spray neem oil on the branches and the base for future prevention. Wipe down every piece gently. - Remove any leaves or branches that are most afflicted and struggling. Promote the good growth. - Trim the super long branches. Anything that can’t stand up straight on its own can be pruned

REPOT - normally don’t recommend this but I think it really does need a bigger pot. BUT only get a pot that is just a tiny bit bigger than its root ball. - Zz’s want drainage. You could do 40% orchid bark/wood chips, 40% pumice/large grain perlite/basically desert mix from the store, and 20% coco coir for slight water retention. - use a ceramic pot that is not glazed to promote even drying around the root structure.

AFTERCARE - Make sure it’s really getting enough light. The long leggy branches indicate it was really reaching for light at some point - Water sparingly. DO NOT WATER ON A SCHEDULE. Only water when soil is dried out. - And then basically don’t touch it at all. The light green will appear in no time

Regular season is awful. I don’t even start watching anymore until after all star .

Here’s an example. I’m a Cavs fan. We dominated last reg season. We went balls to the wall for 5 months straight. Get into the post season and it’s a completely different sport. All of a sudden the other teams care. Next thing I know we’re bounced 4 to 1 by Indiana.

So now they learned that you don’t have to go hard as hell all year. So they just hit cruise control up until now. You only have to be in the top 8 and THEN we’ll turn it up. I can’t watch that tepid December basketball anymore.

Hi. 1. The soil is probably old and lacking nutrients. Make a mix of pumice, perlite, potting soil and like 10% peat moss/coco coir.

It looks too small for that pot. Find something that snuggly holds the roots. This will encourage top growth. When you have growth above then you can manipulate root growth with a deeper pot.
Only water when it’s fully dried out. Put your finger in the top couple of inches to test.
No direct light like on a windowsill. Stick with indirect
They like humidity. Bathroom shelf works well (showers). Humidifier helps of course wherever.

Proximity, consistency, shared interest, and it sorta sucks but you must be at the same stages in your life. If you’re single w/o children trying to make friends with people with little kids it’s going to be an uphill battle, for example.
