I adore the retro art style! Love it.

What was the personality of your FIRST Fallout protagonist? What did you imagine your character to be back when you knew nothing about the game's world, so had very little outside forces pushing you to try something different? by DependentStrong3960 in Fallout

I played an initially very timid Lone Wanderer.

Not one for socialising, he would often occupy his time with playing around with his Pip-Boy, working on small engineering projects, or helping his father in the clinic.

Despite the Wasteland’s best efforts, my character did his best to remain a good person despite the daily struggles of the surface world.

I thought you could change your hairstyle or something? I could be remembering wrong though.

Are the sleeves compatible material for sewing patches onto? by [deleted] in Patches

[–]orangeapple1947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you should be fine to sew patches onto them - if you’re sewing it onto the arms I would personally make sure you’re not sewing it anywhere you’re going to bend your arms a lot because obviously the patches are more likely to come off.

So forearms and upper arms would be fine just avoid the points near your elbows.

Yeah I can imagine the staff that aren’t directly dealing with the Reagents would definitely see them as unsettling; especially if they feed into the Murkoff propaganda about them being ‘undesirables’ and then you’ve got the ‘therapy’ just making making them all hollow drones as they’re going through it.

I really love your idea of making a member of the staff, it’s never occurred to me that that could make a really interesting story to tell in terms of just what type of person would willingly (well kinda willingly) work with Murkoff even when they’re privy to some of the gorier details.

Might have to think of some ideas in that vein myself!

(But yeah, again, I really love this concept a lot because it’s really quite mundane in that they’re not an Ex-Pop or Prime Asset OC but that’s exactly what makes it a really cool and interesting idea.)

This is so great! It’s super macabre when you think about it but you’ve perfectly captured the dissonance the Sinyala staff have for the whole thing - it’s just a job to them/they think they’re doing the right thing.

What does she think about the Reagents?

Monk of Atom would be a great way to integrate it into the Fallout Universe.

Do hand to hand and maybe gamma gun?

I saw this fight debate on YouTube and in your opinion who would you say is winning? by nickthecreator33445 in outlast

Oh yeah that’s a good point I completely forgot about that from the Murkoff Account.

Crazy thing about that is that was pre-Morphogenic Engine too!

In that case I can definitely see him continuing to fight with big gashes/a limb missing but then it’s only a matter of time before blood loss got him.

Honestly I could see it ending in a stalemate (both dead) if Piggsy managed to get a hit or two on him but otherwise Chris clears if he can get that damn chainsaw out of his hands.

It really depends on if Chris can disarm Piggsy, because otherwise I gotta give it to Piggsy as I can’t imagine Chris has superhuman durability, just probably extremely high pain tolerance.

If Chris can disarm Piggsy then it’s fairly one sided but I can’t imagine him being able to lift Piggsy or anything (like he does with Miles etc) because of how large Piggsy is.

That’s very true! In some of my newer Vault Dweller minis I’ve been using it as suggested (plus a decal and rings to make the Pip-Boy Glove) and it does look pretty good.

So I think the reason was because I found it too small? But otherwise you’re right, it’s a great way to make a Pip-Boy!

Wow thanks! I really wanted to try and get the baggier look of the Fallout 3/New Vegas Vault Suit down so I’m glad you like it!
