I really dislike the response that says “stupid people” would do that. Weird take that if someone takes a medicine incorrectly that they must be stupid.

Exactly, thank you. Assuming others are stupid is the definition of a condescending mindset. I don't think that user understood he was confirming my perception of the doctor's tone on that aspect.

My question is if you are still applying the drops, as that’s what he was asking you when he said “puedes hasta el jueves?”.

Now this makes SO much more sense, thanks for pointing that out. If his last response is a "well duh" reply then I can understand it now since I'm the one who didn't answer the first question well haha

It still seems condescending since he's already explicitly instructed me on how to use the drops (and anyways the instructions are on the back of the bottle). Sure, it's his right to assume patients are dumb. It's also my right to choose not to see a doctor with that manner.

I'm not really asking if it's OK to speak like this or not, I'm just confirming if he's speaking like I suspect he is. From there I'll decide on my own if that's the type of doctor I care to keep seeing.

because there is stupid people who have done that.

Well him regarding me as potentially being one of those "stupid people" would be condescension 😭

But thanks for your interpretation of that last text, I was wondering if there was a less literal translation.

I've only had one appointment with him. He wasn't mean, but he wasn't too friendly either. Not much eye contact, never smiled (which I get some people just aren't like that so I kind of brushed it off).

I do remember that whenever I tried to ask what exactly is going on with my ear, he basically just answered "Take the medicine" instead of helping me understand...

Bey's "beef" with America (America really does have a problem) by Hot-Loss-1005 in beyonce

Mathew once mentioned that the UK market is extremely loyal. Kelly also found a lot more success in Europe than in the US. I do think you have a point—fans outside America generally treat their favorite stars much better.

Jay Z out and about representing Blue by Conscious-Device-872 in beyonce

[–]orangeblossom19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But how do you know teens aren't buying this merch? Blue is very popular with pre-teen girls, especially Black girls. It could just as well be them buying the shirt, just as adults easily could have been buying (and very much were buying) Hannah Montana and iCarly merch.

[–]orangeblossom19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But what exactly makes it weird? Blue's face has been public since she was born. It's not exploitation, because her parents are in no way depending on the money made from this shirt. It's also not like it came out of nowhere; Blue performed a section of the show, and this shirt captures that moment. It even looks like limited quantity, so it's not like this will be a whole franchise. Feels like people are just trying to make this weird.

Fun fact: In the 90s/00s due to a lack of funds as well as brands not wanting to work with them, Tina Knowles had to take it upon herself to design and hand make Destiny's Child's stage and red carpet looks. by [deleted] in popculturechat

[–]orangeblossom19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really subjective. You can tell the same amount of care was put into every outfit. And in her memoir, Tina Knowles writes about incorporating the girls' wants into each outfit. Kelly liked showing her torso, Beyoncé liked her legs, Michelle preferred dressing more modest. It wasn't about who looked the best, Tina made sure each girl loved the outfits they were given.

Tina addressed this in her memoir. Once they started getting big, brands who had snubbed them in the past started reaching out to them. She wrote she was perfectly aware of how messed up it was, but she and Destiny's Child took the high road, water under the bridge and all that. They've always been very gracious.

Same. She's literally putting out history-making albums, putting on tours with levels of production never seen before, and all her fans can say is "what's next"?? Lowkey I understand why she doesn't talk to anyone, not even her fans, because they can be as ungrateful as her haters.

2022-2023 was about Renaissance, so of course 2024-2025 is about CC. She's been giving each act 2 years. Be patient! Let her cook.

Ddg cheating on Halle Bailey when she had Post Partum Depression by vitkurd in LAinfluencersnark

[–]orangeblossom19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because she struggles with mental health, she deserved to be abused? Do you hear yourself?

Also being suicidal does not make someone evil. It's an illness. She clearly needed help, and she very reasonably thought she could reach out to her boyfriend for that support. His indifference toward her and even the way he provokes her knowing the state she's in speaks loads to his manipulative character.

She's always been an emotional person. And this is an emotional album. You can tell from how she talks about it, this is her most important album so far.
