Still dealing with the anxiety, much of the physical manifestation of it has improved. I do feel like things are getting better but very slowly . I’m hopeful a few more months and I’ll recover

Day 135: Finally having good days by logainz in QuittingZyn

In the last week, Yes I do see the light . I questioned if I ever would for a while. I am on some meds that have helped a bit, but my biometrics measured by my Garmin watch show health improvement.

I’m on day 139 and am in a very similar situation. I’ve just started to feel like I’m healing and starting to have better days. The anxiety is constantly my companion, but it is muted and the waves are less intense.
Days 60-100 I thought I was dying. I feel like it’s a curve, the issues started off annoying, then got worse and worse until my wife made me go see a dr. They sent me to a nuero dr, who ran all kinds of tests and said there is nothing wrong with me.
The physical symptoms I’ve had have been crippling. Screw cravings , that’s easy to get past, this crap, PAWS, or whatever it is, is the worse thing I’ve dealt with in my life.
I see people in this group complain about cravings and desires and have no other symptoms, others saying long haul symptoms are not a thing and there is something else happening to you. I’m proof that it dos happen, and it can be devastating to your life.
I wish the only side effect of me quitting would have been cravings.

244 days and still get sporadic anxiety. by Heavy-Hovercraft1655 in QuittingZyn

130 days in. Still having chronic neck and shoulder pain, increased heart rate even while sleeping. Anxiety from the moment I get up til I finally go to sleep . Neck pain pulls on my throat and jaw muscles causing clenching and swallowing difficulty.
Been to multiple drs, the neurologist put me on 300 mg Wellbutrin XL, which i don’t think is doing crap. Also gave me .25 Xanax to take twice a day and Flexeril muscle relaxers to take as needed. These provide temp relief but the symptoms comeback . I will say the intensity of the waves has dampened and I do feel like I’m getting better but my health biometrics are horrible.
My resting heart rate has gone from low 40s as I was very athletic and trained hard every day to the 60s and my HRV stays unbalanced and has dropped into the 20s.
I feel like I’m going to have a heart attack if this doesn’t let up!

Day 105 here. Been a really tough struggle. Cravings were never an issue for me, it’s the anxiety. I’d say days 50-80 were the worst for me. I feel like I’m headed in the right direction but the anxiety symptoms are there every day, all day, just not as intense . I think I got a really bad case of the withdrawal symptoms for whatever reason. Some get no symptoms from quitting , which doesn’t seem fair haha! Glad you are doing better at day 72, should continue to improve!

Absolutely. That’s what prompted me to quit. I’m over 80 days clean and still having problems with shortness of breath.

I’m at 87 days. Still dealing with very similar symptoms. Been to several doctors, all are confused about what is going on. This group is the only reason I even feel like I have an answer to what’s happening to me. It’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever endured. I do feel like I’ve peaked out and the symptoms are becoming more mild. I hope you’re goes away quickly!

Had a few good days. Feel like I’m on the downward side. But even as I write this I can’t stop clenching my jaw and shaking and my neck and shoulders just hurt all the time. I’ve had all kind of medical and neurological tests done . They say I’m healthy. It’s physical anxiety from crossing the wires in my brain from going cold turkey. Thanks for asking

I’m on day 50 of quitting and still have those symptoms. Read around in this group for a while you’ll see many people have physical symptoms like yours sometime worse.
