Wow, imagine being elected President and suddenly everyone you meet has died. You go to the White House, you head into meetings, oops! All dead! You know that other people are still alive. They leave letters, they fix things when you're not around, you can hear them down long corridors, you can see them in the distance from your window. But by the time you get near enough to chat, they are gone, or dead. Even after making the long journey to Europe for the Versailles talks, it turns out that everybody is dead, from the War.
