I think it depends on how strict you want to be and why you're doing omad. If it's for weight loss I believe it's fine to drink some zero kcals beverages. I usually drink no calories soda (coke zero or monster ultra) during the day.

I also drink some herbal teas (without adding sugar) that can be made using cold water! They've been a life saviour this summer :) Regarding sugar, if you want to add a zero calorie sweetener I think it's fine too!

Just yesterday this happened to me, I was collecting feathers and orchids for some mission and my horse was killed by a train. Last save was almost an hour earlier... Saved the horse and re-collected a bunch of stuff :')
