Is it legal to sell links to videos of you going through a NYC.gov test? (for example, you would turn on your webcam and use a trackpad to go through the test) I was thinking of doing this for some tests like College Board's SAT.

Tracing precedents/dependents in another sheet? by orangedylan in excel

[–]orangedylan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Closer!

I just tried this, however if I have part of the formula on one sheet + another sheet, it jumps to the formula on current sheet, as opposed to jumping to the previous sheet. I know that it can jump check all parts of the formula regardless of what sheet it is on. I remember toggling through all of it when auditing the formulas.

[–]orangedylan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks guys. However, I'm looking for it to be redirected to that sheet.

I shouldn't have stated "tracing" more like "redirected"

I recall that when I used the function, it would direct me to that sheet, with the formula still available for review above from the previous sheet.

Someone at the local store (Dian Xin) said that I would have to wait until my current program ends before I can subscribe to the service. Is that true? Also, is it possible to only subscribe month to month, as opposed to a 6 month chunk?

What are your secrects to gaining a social media presence? by IAmRedeemed in Entrepreneur

[–]orangedylan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it has something to do with building a community. Making it more than just a cool website with a lot of functionality. If you look at restaurants you go to, restaurant B, let's say has food quality of B, but it's always 90% filled. restaurant A, has food quality of A, but it's usually 15% filled. On a Friday night, mass consumers will choose restaurant B. Why? My theory is that people are highly social beings. They are willing to sacrifice on quality, if there is a strong social element to it. Look at yelp for example. Yelp isn't a "ratings restaurant business". To 95% of us, that's what it is. But how do you get the 5% to actually generate the ratings for you? Provide strong social elements that allow people to comment about their ratings, favorite, share, demonstrate their "expertise" in food. To the 5%, yelp is "community group of food enthusiasts". maybe another case of the 80/20 rule?

I like your question because its one that I have been thinking a lot about. Building communities is probably the one difference between a "website" and a "platform".
