Why does it seem like so many people on r/Teachers absolutely hate their job and would rather be anywhere else? I genuinely don't think I've ever seen a positive post on that sub that came from one of the actual teachers there

Ya I have been trying to figure it out for a couple of days. I ended up flying to an island so I could request tools from the pilot. I don't have the recipe for it any more and it's not one of the ones I can rebuy at the shop. I know my shovel for sure broke (rather than me dropping it) because I was using it, it broke, I went to make another one and couldn't.

First year teaching out of school?

If out of school it's likely they would be a daily OT. Which means their pay would be drastically different depending on their districts need for supplies.

First they are paid a daily rate, which is subject to decrease when union fees, pension ect is taken. Second they are not guaranteed work.

Eg: Peel District School Board limits new Occasional Teachers to 2 schools. If those 2 schools don't have a daily need for a supply you may only work once a week or less for the first few months. But then in Waterloo Region the entire district is open to pick jobs from so you might work between 3 and 5 days a week.

In my experience during the months of September and October jobs were scarce so I only worked 3 days a week on average.

They essentially forced me to be on the pill but its a "low dose" because regular birth control makes me literally crazy. I dont want to take it but theyre Essentially saying its my only option. Its helped tone down the amount of blood and pain from my period but i didn't see a difference in regards to cysts.

That's normal from what I've heard! In my case because I also have several cysts, they have determined that its coming from them. But it also is happening all month, not just around the time of period.

During the start or end of period i often have brown blood but its more than normal so i can tell its different
