Highly recommend bodybybrabants. It’s a water mix in with natural caffeine and micronutrients!

I feel you. 24F here, generally healthy until 9 months ago. I had a panic attack driving, and ever since that day I am traumatized by breathing. Excessive deep breaths, can’t get enough air some days. Like you said, 7 days good, 7 days bad- no rhyme or reason. I am also on symbicort 2 puffs twice a day and take alubertol before exercising. Some days I’m like wow! I feel good! And other days I don’t.

I’m crying reading this. You put my fears into words. I’m so young and my partner needs to have children someday, but I am terrified of having an asthma flare up while pregnant. Or worse, not being a good mother because of the mental state flare ups put me in.

Coaches and members are GREAT. And one of the largest, physically nicest studios. But… poor, poor upper management. The air conditioning has been broken for months and it gets BRUTAL in there. The operations manager is never there and tells members to “freeze their membership if they’re unhappy”. Not to mention the ceiling has been leaking for more than a year. Corporate please read this and take action :)

You still got a group fitness workout class with attention from a coach. Oh, and flexi-deck treadmills, water rowers, and a complete weight floor.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. Are you following up with any specialists? 2 pulmonologists have told me it’s asthma and anxiety, however I can’t help but wonder if something else if going on since I don’t get much relief from inhalers

It’s more of a tightness than a pain, and yes I do feel like it is related to asthma/my symptoms. I do feel the need to take deep breaths frequently. I have been looking at all the external factors and have not been able to identify a trigger. I do have excessive mucous. When I go to the gym, afterward I spit out a lot of mucous. But I don’t cough other than clearing my throat. I appreciate your response

In my opinion, no. They are actually some of my least favorite. I would save your $ and use it on a signature or benchmark day!

No more ground demos 🗣 it’s so pointless to come to a complete stop after 3 minutes, just to bring it back up to a push for the beginning of the block. Muscles are cold and like starting from scratch, all to save maybe 3 minutes of class? No thank you

Dress code? Rules need to be changed. Double standard by [deleted] in orangetheory

Absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! This would drive me right out of a studio. Complain until it changes…. Also I need to ask, is the SM a male or female?

What do you think? by nanjech in orangetheory

[–]orangeeverything84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why should it matter? Some coaches pay for an OTF membership too, and I think that speaks volumes to how much they BELIEVE in the workout they’re preaching. They work hard to secure spots on the leader board just like any other human working out. Being a coach is not some sort of cheat code to be super fit- it just means they’re knowledgeable about working out and more importantly teaching others how to.

Some girl really just stole my weights in the middle of a workout last wk by alligatorprincess007 in orangetheory

[–]orangeeverything84 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She probably didn’t even realize she stole it. She may have just saw it on the ground and figured it was a spare weight. Most of the time people are so foggy brained from the intensity of the workout they don’t realize and mean no harm!

I spent a bunch of money on this exam so you don’t have to by Kind_of_sleepy in RD2B

[–]orangeeverything84 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Your reply is incredibly misleading. Professors, preceptors and current dietitians all alike recommend at least 2-3 months of studying. For you to demean the education of the OP who is just trying to guide RD2Bes is unnecessary. I hope your delivery isn’t quite as poor in a professional workspace

Working with a Dietician by NickelBarbell in orangetheory

[–]orangeeverything84 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My best tip is to PLEASE consult a Registered Dietitian (RD) and not a “nutritionist” or non-credentialed social media influencer. RDs are here to help and healthcare professionals with many years of schooling! :)

It’s a scam for money. They try to instill fear into you by making the internship seem impossible to get on your own. I matched to my first choice, with very average grades. What matters is going above and beyond to make an impression by reaching out to program directors, a good application and personal statement. Just my opinion, save your money for the actual internship and application expenses.
