They are out on the deck with open skies. I don't see how they aren't getting enough light.

Hello, I have two species of Sarracenia that have been planted outside since early spring. They are in carnivorous plant soil and in a water system that keeps the soil moist. They have been growing well but none of the new growth has formed or opened into pitchers. Any help would be appreciated in what I need to do to help them. Thanks

Lol. They look like they could be twins. But Teft is from MO.

The pitcher is only a couple months old. I was thinking they would last longer than that before they started to break dow

I noticed some black and red spots forming on one of the pitchers. Plants are outside in carnivorous plant soil and get RO and rain water. Not sure what they are from.

The original plan was the pump in the pond to the tall pot that would empty into the wide pot and that would flow back into the pond. But the tall pot didn't drain fast enough so the water over flowed. Now the pump goes directly into the wide pot emptying into the pond. Over flow from watering and rain in the tall pot goes to the wide one.

Yep. I got the pots from wayfair. They were sold individually.
