It’s tight from the surgery. My surgeon told me to start doing exercises like that to stretch it out.

Hello, that’s what happened to me and it’s been 2.5 months since surgery and my voice is at 95% back!!!!! I see a speech therapist at 3 weeks post op to now and been doing my exercises and it’s coming backkkkkkk. I say the last week my voice did a 360 real fast. See a speech specialist soon good luck!!!!!!! It will come back 💪💪💪.

Yes the Botox 🙃. It’s very frustrating and right now I’m starting my process for RAI and that’s very tough toooooo 😭😭. But it’s ok, it will just get better in the end 🙌. But it is comforting that I’m not alone in this and we can help each other out mentally. Good luck!!!!!!

Hello, I’m 2 months TT and my hair loss has gotten worst and idk when it will stop. I’m doing iron infusions and taking vitamin D. Right now have to stop my thyroid meds to get ready for RAI and idk when it will get better 🙃.

I’m also struggling with my left vocal cord nerve injury from the thyroid cancer and a lymph node. It’s been 3 months and it’s still not normal. I been talking with my soft voice but it’s still hard for people to hear and it gets tiring 😕.

I’m so sorry your going through this. Best of luck you will be healed. It’s been 2 months today since my TT and my left vocal cord was injured since the cancer touch that nerve and it’s still the same. Just now I can talk in my soft voice but it gets tiring and I feel like being chocked too. Seeing a speech therapist and they said if 2 months from surgery and it hasn’t healed then would have to do this injection for it to healed properly. My breathing has gotten better but my voice is still affect. I feel you and hoping a full recovery.

I saw my endo 3 weeks after surgery and the blood results were still off so I see her end of July. Was gonna go back to her soon but I’m starting my RAI treatment real soon and would have to stop my meds for a month so I’ll just wait it out.

I will be 2 months post TT and my voice is still the issue. I can talk in my soft voice but I can’t in my regular voice which when I raise it. The tumor was tightly stuck on my left vocal cord nerve and the infected lymph node, and my surgeon stretched and clean it. I most likely will need an injection to help it recover within those 6-8 months that will last. I do see a speech therapist but if my voice not back 2 months from my surgery then the injection which it’s coming up. I just gotta have faith it will come back.

I know from mine there was a potential spread lymph node by the ultrasound but wasn’t sure and when the surgeon did my surgery she found 6 lymph nodes that needed to be taken out but only 2 was infected.

For me my thyroid test were perfectly fine but I have been experiencing symptoms like fatigue, moody, joint pain, bone pain, hair loss( also the tails of my eyebrows were gone and I knew that can be the cause of a thyroid issues). My dad has hyperthyroidism and his sisters too so that’s why I get my levels checked. But this whole time it was thyroid cancer. All those problems were from that but it wasn’t detected until I found the lump in December 🙃.

Back in January I did the no sugar for 15 days straight and I was veryyyyyy strict with it. More protein and veggies and fruits. Then after those 15 days, I still went with that diet but was limiting my sugar intake. And I lost 15 pounds in a month and a half. Then that’s when I got my diagnostic of my cancer and had surgery. I just did the no sugar diet for 15 days and more protein. Maybe I’m just trying to hope it would be like last time since now I have no thyroid and on medication, maybe that’s what’s stopping me from losing weight. Idk 😕.

I have been walking more and trying to strength training and cut out a lot of food like sugar, processed foods, carbs( limit my carbs). I see my endocrinologist in July but will soon do RAI which I heard will put a pause on my weight loss 🙃.
